Not true to size.

These rod are the the same diameter as the sheer pins used on my Honda 9.5 outboard. Just cut them to length and save $$$$.

I will keep these around for squib rods on .44 &.45 caliber handguns. They will work well.

If you have a hobby type shop at your house you can always find a use for brass and all metals in small quantities, bar stock, tubing, flat stock they are all useful at various times. Amazon having things like this bar stock in smaller quantities at a good price makes it that much easier to get what you need for a project.

These rods are a very consistent 1.984mm in diameter, in other words they are 5/64. That may not seem like a significant difference, but it is very noticeable. And when your pivot holes are designed for 2mm, there is unacceptable slop. I wish the sellers would specify which measurement is the more accurate. (e.g. 6/64, close to 2mm).
