Cooler Master NR200P MAX SFF Small Form Factor Mini-ITX Case, Custom 280mm AIO, 850W SFX Gold PSU, Triple-slot Vertical Mount GPU, PCIe Gen4 Riser, Tempered Glass or Vented Panel (NR200P-MCNN85-SL0)

I upgraded to this case from a Cougar QBX. The QBX was a low cost alternative to the nCase M1 when that came out a few years ago. The NR200 is the exact same internal layout as both of those cases minus a spot for a optical drive. This case was a little cheaper months ago when it released but it has increased in price rightfully so as it is a great case. Do not pay $$$ for a kickstarter SFF case unless you have the budget and the patience. This case has a great fit and finish. It is dimentionally slightly smaller than my QBX so it will fit into a backpack AND fit in the underseat compartment on most airplanes. Ive got the Scythe Mugen 5 rev.B on an Asus z170i pro motherboard and the side panel closes fully with a milimeter to spare without the crosspanel installed. Airflow is great with the mesh sidepanels. I like that there is an abundance of filters on this case and the tooless capability makes it very easy to work in for regular maintenance or upgrades. Plenty of room for bigger modern hardware (whenever there is hardware to actually purchase these days). I think the price is still competitive as long as it doesnt climb above $100.

I purchased this case and coolermaster psu + Corsair water cooler. I wish I purchased the nr200 max. I failed to notice that this case doesn’t allow top mounting of the radiator. But I don’t want to return everything. I lay the pc on its side to have the radiator above the pump. And getting custom length cables from pslate customs. I’m sure I could have avoided this by getting the Nr200 max. Edit: ended up returning this and got the nr200 max. Couldn’t be happier. Only down side is that the pump is making a small noises unlike the Corsair aio

Ive built dozens of sff computers and I love this case. I 3D printed a modified ATX holder and use an ATX power supply. You can download the print files on cooler master website. I painted the case to go along with a Halo theme and it was extremely easy to take the panels off. Good quality all around. I went with the vertical mount option to compensate for the atx power supply and it works great. Only issue you may run into with this setup is cooling. So far so good, Im running a Ryzen 5600x with a low profile cooler and a 3060ti. Temps are good but if I was running a 5900x and 3080ti the temps may get pretty hot. In all I will but this case again. Looks awesome.

First off, its a really good quality small and beautiful case! So happy with the design and size and like 4-5 vents. I liked that i can carry it without strain. (Im 52 and no muscle) Second off, I didnt build it or get the parts so Im not familiar. My cousin did 99% of the work with whats inside ... (I just gave him my cc and cash). He managed to fit a MATX (231*185mm) into it and around 3 or 4 fans? (the fan(s) that the case came with and 2 of the brown fans that everyone uses) I was told he barely, very carefully fitted the graphics card into it. He had to sell the original power supply he got cause it was too big, and got a new, smaller one. I was told since the case is so small and it wasnt suppose to be for matx, the wiring is a mess. It really helped that the case can be taken apart from many sides. I really wanted a sff case but the parts that my cousin gotten for me were for a mid matx case. He managed to fit everything and the fans (except the big power supply). Im sure if youre familiar with building computers and know what parts fits and didnt have someone with so many demands but not familiar with computers, itll come out great. XD He stressed test my computer and said what I want to do is fine, it wont get too hot. (Ill be using it for heavy photoshop/art media/photo editing/light gaming/web browsing/ watching videos) Im very satisfied with my new computer case ^^. Im also very happy that I got it during pre-order! I wouldnt know when Id get it if I didnt.

Review is for Black, standard version of the NR200 SFF (no riser cable, no windowed side panel) I was looking for a compact case with room to run a long 3 fan 2070 card. This case worked nicely, was easy to build in, and had some decent cable management options built in (like little tie tabs along the framework of the case to tie off to, and velcro straps under the PSU). Other thoughtful features are there are two positions for the PSU bracket, if you are using a standard SFX, or an SFX-L. The side and front covers come off without tools, but theyre nice and tight until youre ready to pop them off. The top and bottom covers come off easily as well, but are secured with one screw each. The only conflict I ran into with this case is I used an NZXT Kraken X63 280mm AIO cooler -(RL-KRX63-01) and the radiator doesnt actually fit inside the side mounted radiator bracket. The bracket bolt pattern allows for 280MM radiators, but the top and bottom edges of the bracket are bent at 90 degree angles and the resulting opening is slightly smaller than the Kracken 280 radiators top to bottom dimension. I had to spread the brackets folded sheetmetal edges back a bit on the top and bottom to squeeze the cooler in place, the solution was not elegant, but it allowed the cooler to fit. This 280 cooler also barely fit with-wise within the opening of the cases frame, but it worked so long as the cooling lines were positioned to be on the hing side of the bracket (and not the side that the bracket bolts to the case-frame). Biggest negative for me was the thinner sheetmetal where the motherboard actually bolts into, the tray has a nice big cutout on the back to access cooler backplates, but the but the thinness of the metal, plus the big opening makes the motherboard tray flex more than any other case I can remember building in. Not a deal breaker, and shouldnt make a difference once the machine is assembled, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Also, the case is pretty heavy for its size. I was planning to buy one of the windowed versions of this case as well, but they sold out early. My build (general purpose & moderate gaming): Asrock Z390M-ITX/ac motherboard Intel i5-9600K CPU Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM Mushkin Pilot – 2TB PCIe NVMe EVGA Supernova PSU 123-GM-0650-Y1 NZXT Kraken X63 280mm - RL-KRX63-01 Zotac RTX 2070 AMP ZT-T20700B-10P Im running 2 thin 120mm x 15mm bottom fans blowing up/in, and one thick 120mm fan in the top cover blowing up/out CPU is overclocked to 4.8GHZ, GPU is overclocked slightly (MSI Afterburners Curve maxes out around 2280 core speed), The case has good airflow, so far thermals when gaming have been: CPU Max 72 degrees (@125w draw) GPU Max 64 degrees (GPU @99%)

The items its self is fine just did not fit the new Video card I got for Christmas. The issue is the item was returned and lost in shipping. I have chatted to several Amazon reps and they all say they will process a return by XX or I can take care of that now. Last week I was told the refund was processed and still nothing. Not waiting to bring down the seller but not sure how else to get my refund. Update: I was finally able to get a refund so my star rating is now just for the build and quality of the case.

Fit my micro atx board, 1080ti ftw hybrid and full size atx psu (180mm length). I also have a 20tb iron wolf pro as well. Now I had to get creative and drill a few extra mounting holes for the hardware but temps are stable and with in reason while gaming. As for the included top mounting 120fans I did have to get a ultra slim 13mm to fit and use pop rivets to attach but it worked great.

The CM NR200p max is a good system. I’ve been looking to build a SFF system for over a year now. I finally decided to build one since I’ve been using the MSI TridentX2 (beast of a gaming PC). For anyone thinking twice about this PC, you should get it. I will say that if you never built a PC or don’t like tweaking things multipolar times, you may find building a PC like this stressful. But I can say it really isn’t stressful at all. The AIO in this system is top notch, the PSU is good even enough for the 40 series and we’ll constructed SFF. My specs I have a MSI Z790i edge Wi-Fi motherboard 6000 TridentZ ram 32gb Two CoolerMaster Halo2 gen 2 140mm fans( replaced radiator 140mm) Intel i7-13700k Two Noctua 120mm 15s for bottom intake fans When I first built the PC the temps were my biggest concerns especially for a SFF like this. However after tweaking and watching a few YouTube videos, I was able to get the i7-13700k under good temps. When I first stated I was getting 70-80c when gaming but nothing over 80c. You definitely need to undervolt the i7 it runs hot. To do this, you can simply go into your bios and if your motherboard supports it, use CPU lite load. It’s one of the easiest ways to undervolt. I think everyone starts at default(mode 9). The pc will most likely throttle when running stress test. I switched mine to mode 2(CPU lite load) and one other thing, you must use an aggressive fan tuning. If you have good fans, you won’t hear much when the fans are ramped up a bit.I have attached a photo of my fan curves. Also I can use the mesh or tempered glass with this unit. TG gives me 1-2c temps more but due to my bottom 2 noctua fans and my fan curves I get great temps while gaming. Also when doing regular computer task. Keep in mind, it all depends on what you’re trying to accomplish with your PC build. But if you plan on gaming, web browsing, school work, YouTube or nothing like streaming or 4k editing you should be just find. I did not test the system for 4k editing or streaming but I’m sure the PC would run hotter as those events add more stress to the PC. Just YouTube and you will find how to fine tune your build based on your needs and you should be just fine. For me, this is a great little PC with good cooking exactly what I needed for my needs.

This is without a doubt the best approach to a case that can house full form factor, ATX size components without compromise. In current I am running a i9-9900k at 5.1 ghz, cooled by a nzxt x63 280 mm radiator. The temperatures of the CPU top out at about 70 C and the fans are dead silent. Mounted in the rear portion is a gigantic evga rtx 3080 ftw3 that takes up every bit of space spare a tiny bit in the front for airflow. The temperatures here are not amazing, but for a mini itx, 80-Ish C is quite acceptable. The fans do have to rev up and is a little noisy, but nothing to worry about, even with desktop speakers. You won’t be bothered unless you are a “everything must be dead silent “ enthusiast. I recommend getting a strip of poly foam to place between the case interior, bottom shelf, and rear of the graphics card to tone down gpu sag. It’s likely not an issue, but for me, I bought mini itx to enjoy moving it to LAN parties; the extra protection guarantees you won’t mess up your multi thousand dollar investment. Overall I find the clean, led-less build to be extremely satisfying, much nice to have extra desk space for the giant aw3418 ultra wide that sits next to it. The build IS tough, though. I sent a few hours putting it together iteratively as cable management was tricky. An after market braided cable set will likely make this easier, so if you don’t mind spending an extra 50 dollars, do it. Well done and bravo Cooler Master.
