> 24 hourWordPerfect has always been my go to word processing program for my office. It is easy to learn, manage and use. It also works and plays well with others including Microsoft Word, Adobe etc.

> 24 hourIve used both Word Perfect and Word. Both have their selling points, but I much prefer Word Perfect . . . especially the reveal codes option.

> 24 hourIve used WordPerfect since it was a DOS software. It always meets and exceeds expectations. The rest of the package contains solid tools that are as easy, if not easier, to use. Quattro Pro is a solid rival to Excel and WordPerfect Lightning has become my newest favorite tool. Dont let anyone try to tell you that Office is better. WordPerfect provides the tools you need to be in control of your work, not the other way around. The entire suite is easy to use, flexible and hearty enough for any project you might want to throw at it.

> 24 hourWhile I understand the reason behind Microsoft’s going to a subscription model for Office, I’m simply sick of having so many different pieces of software that require a subscription in order for me to use them. I had used WordPerfect many years ago and when I saw how this version of WordPerfect had support for 60 file types I decided it was time for me to give it a try again. As someone who has worked exclusively within the Office Suite for many years there are some differences but they are minor and didn’t take long for me to figure out. Corel knows users are more familiar with the Office software so they have worked to make this as intuitive as possible without violating any copyright. The one area where this software really lags behind Office is in spreadsheets. Depending on how often you use this type of thing that would be something to consider. Since I don’t use it too frequently, although I do a bit, I’ve made it work with effort. In terms of the word processing program which is what I primarily use, it’s excellent and I have no complaints. Use is straightforward, easy to figure out, quick to find what you need, lots of built in templates and best of all - no ongoing subscription fee to pay! I’ve been very satisfied with this product after using it for the last couple of months and have recommended it to several friends as I will to you as well.

> 24 hourI have been out of school for quite some time now, and my need to super compatibility with Microsoft Office has diminished. That said, I havent yet encountered anything this office suite cant handle. I have this installed on a second PC that needed an office suite. You get equivalents for Word, Access, and Powerpoint. Additionally, AfterShot, WordPerfect eBook Publisher, and Lightning (for notes) are included. Corel continues its everything but the kitchen sink approach when competing with Microsoft. Overall, I am happy with this software. It takes some getting used to sometimes, but it is solid nonetheless.

> 24 hourI have updated this program with every new iteration and always find it to be worthwhile, even when the update only consists of doing more of the same a bit smoother and easier But I also want to recommend this whole heartedly to those folks, each year, for whom this is their first office program It is superior in every way to that other famous office. This wasnt always the case, but it is now

> 24 hourWordPerfect Office Standard 2020 comes with a DVD for installation. I needed an Office Suite for my HP laptop. For the most part, I type simple documents. I have Microsoft Word on my other computers. I rarely open PowerPoint and Excel, but I will write a few words about their counterparts. Any documents created on Quattro Pro (excel) and Presentations (powerpoint) are transferrable to a Word document, once on Word the graphs, documents, you can continue working on them. Some of the content listed on the box, the extra clip-on images, eBook Publisher, and the photo editing, known as AfterShot, are add-ons. I haven’t located the eBook Publisher-customer service wasn’t able to help me. I did add on the photo editing, AfterShot sent me to a YouTube for instructions. I was impressed with sectional editing of images, certain objects or backgrounds and the history that remembers steps allowing you to backtrack to a specific procedure without starting over. There are plenty of tutorials included for the different programs. Most of the programs are comparable to Microsoft Word. The Pocket Oxford English Dictionary is included. My test word is ‘barmbrack’ which the dictionary did not have. For twenty-five dollars the Oxford Concise Dictionary is offered as an upgrade. Rather than chance that barmbrack isn’t in the Concise Dictionary, I can go online or ask my phone for definitions for words not listed in the Pocket OED. Without being a user of several of the programs offered, I can’t comparatively say what distinguishes this from other Office Suites.
