Waited to use before writing a review. Purchase these strainers in October of 2021. With daily use they have performed flawlessly. Screen catches everything (except water) that goes down the drain. Seal is good where it lays on the drain basket. Not a speck of rust on any part of the strainer. Definitely would buy again.

This strainer is much better than expected. Ive used it for almost 4 months, and its sturdy and keeps its shine. Ive not had any difficulty pulling it out and cleaning it.

Good strainers to keep food particles from going down sink drain. Need to be careful when removing to clean as a bit sharp around the edges.

These fit perfectly in the sink drain, water pours through easily (as long as there isnt too much food), keeps the bits of food we dont want clogging up the pipes and septic behind, is easy to empty, and looks like its good quality (the stainless steel looks like its well made and wont tarnish). I wanted to get this because I hate food going down the drain (we have a septic system) and the strainers with the rubber plugs at the bottom that came with the house never work correctly (theyre always tilted so water can go through). These are great because it will catch the food and allow the sink to drain efficiently!

I bought this when moving into a new apartment and needed it for my kitchen. Imagine my surprise when I stop in a dollar store nearby and saw this same thing in there, packaging and all, for $1.

Exactly what i needed! Doesnt drain liquids thicker than water if not going through the grating, but works wonderfully otherwise! I simply turn the faucet on to make it move, or pick up this out of the drain for thicker liquids. To get food out, tap on the side of your trashcan or if its small enough, its okay to spray it out of it upside down into the drain. Perfect product!

In the past, I bought the strainers at local discount stores for about $1 each. They didnt wash well or last long. I decided to spend a little more on this product due to the reviews, and Im glad I did. They wash well by hand or in the dishwasher. Still look like new after several months of use. My old kind would have been in the garbage already. Fits well in the drain and stays in place. If you buy these strainers, you wont need to buy replacements for quite a while.
