Greater than one weekI rigged up a winch on my car trailer that is removable. I used the receiver and the tow hitch to make the thing work.

15-06-2025Not much to say, it is as advertised. Used once so far as a winch mount with no issues.

> 3 dayWell-made, the reinforcing ring is a nice continuous piece, shipped promptly, no complaints. Now I just have to find time to weld everything together.

Greater than one weekI would prefer 1 grade up for the material, as these are for a heavily loaded custom hitch. As part of a twin receiver system. Otherwise, it is the same good quality as all standard Curt hitch products.

> 3 dayThe end is heated and formed to create the re-enforcement. The other curt receiver (longer) I got in the same order, and a cheaper model I got elsewhere both used weld on rings. This formed end doesnt seem as sturdy or as well designed. Im not towing with it so its fine for what Ill be doing with it. Its not defective, just not as good a product as I was expecting.

> 3 dayWow. I thought its just some steel... so I looked at Harbor Freights tubes. Terrible. Big seams on the inside, some seams on the wrong side, sloppy lip on the business end of the receiver, etc. Put it right back on the shelf, walked out the door, and ordered a Curt. Well, actually two, but thats another story. More money, but Im so glad I did. What a difference in quality. Now I need to get to work...
