But the lifetime guarantee pushed me over the edge finally and I’m glad I got them. They fit perfectly, kept my feet warm while skiing in the alps in the dead of winter, and haven’t showed any signs of wearing out. I won’t stock my sock drawer full of Darn Tough, but I’ll definitely get another pair in the future. Just need to start saving up again!

> 3 dayWhile these socks are the most comfortable socks Ive ever worn, I purchased the X-Large size and it was a little snug. I wear a size 13 shoe and it took me some effort to get these suckers on. After wearing them for a few hours they seem to have stretched a little. Then again all new socks I buy have this flaw. Dont let this stop you from buying these socks. They are worth it. Then again you could just return them if they really are to small. Other than that theyre perfect.

Greater than one weekI have been wearing the same pair almost exclusively for the past year, and I want to say some stuff. They run tight around the ankle, and I cant wear them for days without taking them off because it hurts too much. Theyre easing up a little bit, but they still hurt from time to time. That being said, theyre the most versatile socks Ive ever owned. They can be worn comfortably in all weather. If its hot, theyre great. If its cold, theyre great. They are probably one of my best investments of my whole life... Maybe my best, actually. Your feet stay warm-ish even when wet. Thats important. Also, theyre very durable. I dont have any holes in them yet, and Ive been wearing them for a year. Fluff accumulates in them, and you have to throw it out, though. I have noticed they seem a little thinner than they were when I got them, but I trust in the lifetime warranty. I bought a thicker pair from Darn Tough over the summer for this winter. You cant go wrong. Fantastic socks.

> 3 dayBought these for my husband to wear with his hiking boots (I bought a pair as well). I was so glad to actually find these in a size he could wear (hes a size 16). He loves them! Theyre thick, soft, and you cant even feel the seam across the toes (which annoys me so much). I didnt see any wash instructions so I have not put them in the dryer when washing, since theyre made of merino wool. Expensive, but totally worth the money.
