Greater than one weekThese wool socks are AWSOME! I used them for a snow hike (bought some for my sons too). They came highly recommended by an experienced hiker friend. I needed wool socks that would not fall down or bunch up. These socks worked great! I went with some mid weight socks as I needed something to keep my feet warm in the winter but also comfortable in the summer. I will have to see what the summer is like but for the winter they worked wonderful. I had just regular non-insulated hiking boots on and was spent the day in snow up to my hips with an outside temp between 20 and 30 degrees F and my feet were comfortable. I did notice when I was in the car on the way home and not moving that my toes were a little cool but not cold. If these hold up as promised and other reviewers have said then they are well worth the money. I wish they were not quite so expensive but I am sock snob - my socks have to fit just right or I go nuts. I have not ever bought expensive socks before just would replace the cheap ones more often when they would stretch out or get a hole. If these prove durable I will buy a weeks worth.

> 3 dayLove the Darn Tough sock line. I like these lighter weight socks for warm weather use and the thicker fully padded socks for colder weather. The socks are expensive but worth every penny. If there is ever any issue or they get worn, Darn Tough replaces them without hassle... and they are made in the USA!

> 3 dayI was looking for an all-season sock. I wanted a medium weight sock that I could wear all yar long. They are comfortable and can be worn with hiking or running shoes. I like wool over cotton because they do not retain the water like cotton. Nice sock. If the description is correct, these are the last set of socks Ill need to purchase. I purchased a few socks and after receiving them I like them so much I ordered several more. Nice product.

They’re pricey & a bit of a splurge, but last forever and come with a lifetime guarantee, and sooo comfortable, so as gifts they consistently receive raves from my friends and family. Recommend air drying (no dryer) to avoid shrinkage. I routinely buy one size up.
