Dell SE2216H 22 -Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor

I bought this monitor at the same time as I bought the Dell Inspiron 15.6 inch computer believing that purchasing a monitor made by the same people who made my computer would be an ideal match. It wasnt quite. This monitor, despite offering the same pixel ratios as the computer, seems a bit more washed-out color-wise from the laptop display. Because both display sit side by side its an easy comparison and one that is quite noticeable. The controls on the frame are easy enough to make all the adjustments youd want-color, density, framing, etc but I couldnt quite get the sharpness or the vibrant colors I was expecting. Its fine for my use-I stay mostly in the black and white world of Microsoft Office-but there is a slight degradation in the overall color display. Not enough that I cant recommend it, but enough that I cant give it five stars.

The only reason I bought a new monitor was because my old Dell monitor had a problem with the power plug. It would go off all the time and I would have to jiggle it to get it to go on and stay on. Well surprise- this one does the same thing. So I googled the problem and surprise again many others have had the same problem with Dell monitors. You would think Dell could design a product where this wouldnt be the problem- or is this a deliberate flaw to make consumers buy another monitor,

Great monitor and a great price would definitely buy again.
