It’s big, it took me a long time to finish, but it’s beautiful! It’s so far my most favorite cross stitch I’ve done! Highly recommend, just know, you’ll be up to the wee hours of the morning because you won’t want to stop!

This is so beautiful. It is a very difficult pattern however and calls for 6 strands to be used. I reduced the number of strands since I was having too much trouble pulling them through. It still covered the canvas fine.

Tulip Trio was a lovely kit to stitch. I did have some issues with the colors being so similar and light that stitch placement was a little tricky. I am careful to always prep my fabric (in this case, it is 14 count ivory Aida so it is easy to see), to serge the edges, and to grid the fabric every ten stitches using 6lb red nylon fishing line (much less expensive than the type for needlework but pretty much the exact same stuff.) It took me a couple of months to stitch this design which is quite long for me. Once I finished it, I love it. It is so beautiful and elegant. I havent had it framed as yet but I am thinking that it would be beautiful in my guest room. It reminds me of springtime and beautiful flowers - really a lovely piece.

Wife does these kits almost one after another. She likes this one as I once kept a lighthouse in New Orleans. A little bias there.

I can hardly put this kit down. I had just finished Winters Hush, another winter scene, and thought maybe Id wait to start this kit. However, I started this one anyway and am enjoying every stitch. I hope for more snowy, winter scenes in the future
