Dismantling Knife-1000V Insulated

The knife did its job well to the point it sliced a chunk of my hand because I was not careful where I was holding the cable. Total dummy mistake on my part but knife is sharp so it sliced my hand cleanly three stitches later. But as a tool it cleanly sliced open bundled cable it did get stuck but when it does, do not push harder let go of pressure and try to adjust the angle of the blade so it can slide easy again.

I like knipex tool. But this knife is expensive and not so good, I think that milwuakee or klein knives are much beter in a lower price

Have heard great things about this. First time buyer of Knipex. I havent use it as of yet but theres small defective on the blade. Is this normal? I dont think so. As for the blade guide it seem like its not welded completely, look like it might break off if used heavily or is it how it should be? For about $40 a piece I think they should have this fully inspected. For a Big Brand like Knipex I would assumed they pride themselves high.

I use it to remove the factory outer sheathing on factory Harley handle bar wiring harnesses and it worked great. Very easy to use.

I have used this product for about a year it makes work smoother, clean cuts and easy to strip.

Great tool if you need to strip bunch of cables without damaging insulation of internal wires.

Blade is very sharp. Handle is very ergonomic.

For the price, is worth it
