> 24 hourSince these are not HSS, they would struggle to tap new threads into ferrous material, but they work great to chase damaged threads in steel or cast iron. They would although work well to cut new threads in softer materials. They are nicely machined, sharp and come in a nice wooden box.

> 24 hourThe storage box the taps come in is pretty much junk. The partitions are not made to hold the taps so any time the box is moved, all the taps scatter inside. The latches are not much stronger than tin foil. By the time I received the taps, the box was useless.

> 24 hourTried tapping one piece of metal and it destroyed the threads on the tap. I use cutting fluid just like I always do. The may work on aluminum but sure would not use it on anything harder.
