Duck Brand Standard Packaging Tape Refill, 1.88 Inch x 54.6 Yard, Clear, 1 Roll (240408)

To be honest, it sticks to nothing. I bought it for a move with regular cardboard boxes from the hardware store and not a single roll had tape that stuck to the boxes. I had to go to the store to buy a bunch of rolls from a different brand.

This is a really thin tape. Its as thin as they come. Its hard to neatly apply because its so thin, so it sticks to itself when you try to tape it to a box. It tears easily and can sometimes be difficult to start a new piece without the tape shredding. Duck brand HD Clear tape is a very good tape. This version is horrible and I wont buy again.

I thought I had liked this brand of packaging/shipping tape in the past, but the minor cost savings is not worth dealing with more of the tape twisting and getting stuck to itself. Since it feels so thin, I also find I feel I need to double layer it sometimes. If youre using a good quality tape dispenser with a handle, it might be fine for light or medium boxes. However if youre tearing and placing the tape by hand (like after tear it off a cheap plastic roll holder) -- it will stick to itself constantly, folding on itself like tissue paper.

As expected

I thought I had used this before, but it must have been different. This tape is thin and wants to fold back on itself when I pull it off the dispenser. I will not buy this again.

These are thin, so they get very easily split up in middle. But still it is very good value if you can stand up with that.

I know this is duck tape brand but Im definitely NOT impressed. Its thin and weak

You get what you pay for! This tape doesn’t stay on boxes. I’m moving and walking by boxes, the tape has peeled. It doesn’t stick! Horrible. I hope my boxes don’t fall apart during the move.

This is a good value purchase for packaging tape. It is good. I am used to using the thicker HD version of this brands tape and I will be going back to it. I prefer the heavier tape and how much easier it is to work with. This one is good but not my favorite. I recommend a tape gun.
