Duck Brand Standard Packaging Tape Refill, 1.88 Inch x 54.6 Yard, Clear, 1 Roll (240408)

I bought the Duck tape gun which came with one roll of tape. I bought this as a refill since we were moving and I knew I would need more than 1 roll of tape. I thought it would be the same as what comes in the gun....it is not. The tape breaks very easily, often when we are applying it to a box it will just rip and you have to start over. Do not recommend this tape.

I was so surprised amazon would sell such a cheap tape considering I use it to return their packages! It is real thin so it tears easily, gets stuck on itself easily, and doesnt stick well. I would not recommend buying this.

I use it to mail ebay boxes. It is thinner than similar tape I bought in teh past. If you lose teh end, hard to find it again and it doesnt fit on the dispensers I have. Sticks ok, not as good as other brands. Never had any complaints on shipping so I guess it works ok.

Tape is very thin and cheap. Have to use extra to be sure my packages are sealed. Flimsy, bends and sticks to itself very easily when trying to use. I waste a lot trying to get a good clean connection to the box. I use a tape holder, but it doesnt matter. the holder is only as good as the tape thats in it. Probably wont buy this again.

Yikes, the glue adhesive used on this tape is nauseating. I dont remember it smelling like this in the past, but it is AWFUL. Also, the tae is super thing. It peels off NOT in a whole strip roll, but in slivers. It also curls up. I wasted over half a roll just trying to take up two boxes. Due to the toxic smell I threw out the other roles. Perhaps this is a fluke, or they changed the formula. I will update this if I ever try it again and have a better experience.

Although it took me almost 3 weeks to get it Duck Tape has never disappointed me.

I don’t write many reviewers, especially for commodity items, but feel inclined when I think a product is really quite poor. I have a nice tape gun and this tape jams in my gun all of the time, and is so thin that it gets all jumbled up with itself. I end up cutting off and throwing away about 10% of what I use. Lastly, after tappping the box, one day later the tape is peeling off the box on its own. I have used some tapes that one strip feels sufficient to seal the box but I feel the need to hit it multiple times with this tape.

It works like tape but its so thin youll probably waste most of it. I know I did.
