> 3 dayDo not buy off of Amazon. First, I noticed the packaging was beat up and appeared to have water dmg. Who cares tho, right? Then I noticed it appeared that many rolls of tape had been used. Odd since this is listed as new. Still, whatever. Then I got to the product. COVERED in dirt, clearly has been used before, packaging thrown everywhere, bent electrical plug prongs and missing the hair tool entirely. Amazon is clearly trying to sell some used / half missing or returned inventory as “new” and hoping people don’t notice. They also originally implied it was sold thru a separate vendor when it turns out it came from them directly. And it was on their homepage as a “hot deal”. I have another Dyson around 7-8 years old and it is perfect. Buy dyson, sell Amazon

Greater than one weekThe up to minutes are misleading. There are different power settings. If you want the suction you expect from something this expensive, you have to put it on full power. I upgraded from the smaller V8 model, and the battery life was not much better. The attachments are slightly better, but emptying is a downgrade. With the V8, you can keep the tube on and empty it into the garbage. With the V10, the tube sticks through where it opens, so it needs to be removed to empty. The wall mount is also different, so it needed to be changed out. The V10 is a slide in from the top, the V8 requires a push from an angle, then close into place. Either are easy enough, but the V8 is easier because you can come in from varying angles. It matters when you need to maneuver it into place if youre working around other items where youre storing it.

> 3 dayPaying a little more for a vacuum usually isnt something I want to do, but in this case, it was well worth the money...and then some. It does what its advertised to do, and the suction is impressive. The battery life isnt as long as I would like, especially when its on Boost, but youre told about the battery life before using. Its not like Dyson tries to hide it. Its light, very efficient, and quiet.

> 3 dayIve had Dysons for years. My last cordless stick was quite dependable though it would clog from dog hair....even though it was the pet model. This one is easier to empty, doesnt clog as easily, holds a charge longer and has great suction. While not cheap, I do like the quality and the quality makes it worth it.

> 3 dayI purchased Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal Cordless Vacuum as a birthday gift for my 79yr old mother. She admitted that she was not able to vacuum more than a few times a month because the effort of using her old vacuum wiped her out. Yeah, who gives a vacuum for a present? Well her reviews are in! Best birthday present ever. She says it easily vacuums the hair of her two cats, handles her old shag rug without jamming, and is easy and lightweight enough that she is using it every few days. Battery time is plenty long enough to cover the main portions of her 3 bedroom house and she also noted that it is BEAUTIFUL! I was concerned she wouldnt like the bag-less design, as she had a bag-less vacuum before and hated it. In this case, the ease of ejecting the contents over the garbage has been completely fine.

> 3 dayBrand new right out of the box the battery wont charge. contact Dyson for help, they say battery is bad and now I have to wait two more weeks to get a new battery. I opted for return of item as I am now un-impressed and have no faith in Dyson vacuums (how can they send out bad batteries with brand new stuff) especially when you are paying this much for their product ($428.00) would give no stars as we could not even try to use it.

09-06-2025I expected more from the name Dyson this doesnt have anymore of a powerful suck than any of the other vacuum cleaners I have owned over the years. The battery life is not great and the biggest design flaw is in its inability to stand up on its own. Sometimes you need to pick up something to avoid vacuuming it up and you cannot simply put the vacuum down-you have to prop or lean it against something and it often just crashes to the floor. Overall for the price, I recommend exploring other options.
