Greater than one weekEPI OXO biodegradable plastics are actually not truly biodegradable and achieve this buy additives to partially breakdown the plastics. This does not fully degrade the plastic and leaves regular micro-plastics in the environment. Please research OXO plastic for more information. If you want a truly biodegradable bag, search for and purchase certified compostable bags.

> 3 dayI soaked a bag in boiling water for half a day. Then again. Then one more time. If boiling water cant even soften the plastic, they are not biodegradable any more than a plastic grocery bag. Maybe UV rays can break it down over a few years, but thats not truly biodegradable. They look, feel, and act like a standard plastic grocery bag. If you dont need biodegradable, theyll do find.
