I gave as a gift

I have purchased quite a number of design books and as a Elle Decor subscriber, I had great expectations. I was rather disappointed with many rooms selected for the book among those featured in the magazine. Few of my most memorable were included. Good but had great expections.

not as good as the first one from elle decor, but very professional...i just enjoy seeing real people houses as opposed to decorator rooms, though.

If you read the magazine every month you have already seen all these pictures. I sent the book back. When I spend that kind of money I would like to see some new pictures and read something interesting.

Mediocre production....terrible paper like the magazine. Not very well put together...slapped together with, again, mediocre quality.

Wonderful samples of contemporary interiors!

Lovely content, but being the size of a magazine (or smaller), gives little pleasure in page turning and absorbing detail.

i love to decorate

I dont subscribe to Elle Décor all the time but only occasionally. This book is a complication of many of their interior photos. Good resource book. Not as great paper quality as I would expect from them but again, for me this is kind of like a tool and resource book so I dont particularly care. I have many great books on décor and this book is not as great as the most as a product but as a resource it is up there among the many good ones.
