> 24 hourThis is a product aimed squarely at beginners: it all starts off from the very beginning, which is no bad thing, and takes things slowly so that you become competent and fluent, and it will boost confidence. Naturally, if youre after a refresher course, this is not for you.

> 24 hourinstalled after multiple attempts. Will not open says needs shockwave installed. I have done this but program still cannot find it. This means the program is useless. Maybe it doesnt work with ElCapitan

> 24 hourPurchased for my 8 yr. old. He has music lessons at school in which he is learning to read music and I wanted to expand on that basis. Setup took 1 minute and was ready to go! I walked through the chapters and they appear to have a very well thought out sequence (Chapter 1 - BLACK KEYS, using 2 and 3 row keys), Chapter 2 (WHITE KEYS). It has a virtual keyboard on the computer screen (click of the button) when want to see the virtual KB play back the lesson (it highlights the KB and the notes on in the lesson). It also has a video tutorial (click of the button) for each lesson/section/page of the chapter. I learned things in the 1st chapter that I never knew about playing the piano.

> 24 hourI really wanted a good refresher course, as I stopped piano practise several years ago, and I dont feel that this product fits the biscuit. Although I must say that this is a perennial problem with beginners courses, as so much is simplistic. A major dilemma has been not having my computer in the same room as my piano, which has somehow defeated the object.

> 24 hourBut this softwares presentation is a bit dated. Using Windows 7 so not sure if this affects display and distortion with full screen view. Content wise, much better than the lessons that come with the keyboard. Worth the price.

> 24 hourNice and easy staters guide. Whilst for piano, keyboard users will find it just as useful.

> 24 hourThis is a great little product. The lessons are great, and with the Music Theory for Dummies book, I feel like I am really making progress. Im not trying to become the next great recording artist or anything, but it is fun to learn how to create music.

> 24 hourYes ,if you are an absolute beginner , like me , then this will be a great course for you , because it works best for people who have no musical experience , which I suppose is the point of it all anyway. This course will be much cheaper than actual piano lessons - you can play the parts over and over again. Theres constant feedback for where youre going right or wrong , and there are plenty of lessons to have a go at , so why not give it a try?

> 24 hourThis is OK- its basically a bunch of clips that you can use to learn various aspects of playing the piano. My daughter was actually learning at the time I ordered and I think it helped a little, but what helped more were the various music books she bought in addition to this. I suppose for someone who had absolutely no background in piano the format would be good- especially for those who like mixing multimedia learning with practical work. It isnt bad- it just wasnt what I had expected!
