I ordered this fire blanket and I keep it in my kitchen area. You never want to use it, but youll be prepared in case of need. Pull it out, place on fire, and stay safe and at ease. Every home should have at least one in their kitchen. I actually would like several more to put into each bedroom. This would be great to have in an emergency kit. Worth the investment for safety first.

Great to have on hand, and you just hope you dont ever have to use it. Really not possible to test this out. I love the concept and feel good having these in the house just in case!

These are really nice for fire emergency. I like that they’re easy to store and flat. They make for a very convenient use in case of a fire. Always a good thing to have around for safety and peace of mind.

These blankets are a must have. They are very easy to store for when you need them. You can get the blanket out quickly by pulling the straps. You get two in this set which is a great value.

Very handy mounting hole for a rapid deployment fire blanket. The bag is well made so its likely to stay put when you yank the blanket out by its pull tabs in a rush. The blanket is easily deployed and unfolds almost automatically as you pull it from the bag. A great item for around the house, as many kitchen fires can be extinguished without the need for a dry powder that makes a huge mess.

Fires need air, and the theory is that you can throw this blanket over a small fire to starve it of air. How well it works will depend upon how well a person can cut off the supply of air that feeds the fire. This fiberglass blanket is a bit over 3 feet square. It is big enough to throw over a small fire or to cover part of a person, bug not to wrap the body. In some circumstances I think that even if you can’t extinguish the fire with the blanket you might suppress it to slow its spread. Could be a useful piece of emergency equipment. I held a lighter up to it and did not see any evidence of melting or other deformity from the flame. It is what it is advertised to be and does what it is supposed to within its size limitations. Keep it with your fire extinguisher as an additional fire fighting tool.

I got these in several places around the house just in case the unthinkable happens! These are great to put on top of a small fire before it does major damage. We have them hanging on hooks and everyone knows where to get them and how to use them. We also have fire extinguishers, but this seems so much more simple to use than that. These are a Great value and the quality is Great!

Very well made, heavy material however, in all honesty a full review of this product cant be made unless its actually used to put out a fire.
