> 3 dayI sure wish I had this 20 years ago! I stupidly almost burned our apartment down when I left something on the stove. When I saw this, I just had to get it. Hopefully, we will never have to use it, ever. For peace of mind, every household should have one or two. The material is woven, and it feels somewhat soft. When you first take it out of its bag, it does have a plasticky smell, but its not too bad. Naturally, of course I havent used it to say how good it is, and hopefully I wont find out! Again, every household use have one.

> 3 dayClearly I haven’t used this yet so the review is more about the idea if it works as claimed. Hopefully I never have to use this but it is good insurance to have. I love that it is small, doesn’t expire like fire extinguishers and you can hang it where you want or need it no pulling a pin or trying to unhook the holder when you are in a stressful situation, simply pull the tabs and the blanket comes out. I plan to have one in the car, and each barn on the farm.

> 3 dayPlay as pictured, and it has a nice sturdy reinforced hole to hang the blanket from so that it is handy in case of emergency. I didn’t take it out because I am afraid I won’t be able to get it back in right for when I really need to use it, however, it comes with two thick, black straps that stick out the bottom so you can grab and pull and it should pop out the bottom. This is a good value, and it is smart to be prepared just in case. better safe than sorry. I would definitely recommend Adulting and ordering one to have in your home. I keep one in the kitchen and one upstairs in the hall closet.

> 3 dayThese are hope you never need them type of items. My kids saw them and were a bit scared. I had to explain to them what these are used for, how they can come in handy and what not to do. My daughter was scared of the whole concept - but fire safety is something they need to know. She eventually got comfortable. At first she said she didnt want one in her room. After explaining everything - she was OK, and now she understands. Hopefully I never have to find out if they work!

> 3 dayThese fire blankets are excellent to have for emergencies in the house and car, namely small fires in places where theres quite a bit of room to maneuver, and no fire extinguisher handy. The blankets are easy to deploy and store compact in their provided pouch, which has a nice high visibility red material that is super durable. They do a great job of actually putting fire out, and they have clearly printed instructions, so even someone who has never used one can use it properly.

Greater than one weekThis is the sort of item everyone should have in their home and that everyone hopes never to need. Just imagine, though if you are faced with a stove top fire how glad you would be to have one of these on hand. The operation is simple - just pull on the two black fabric straps and the 40 inch square sheet of fiberglass is opened. Toss it onto the flames to extinguish and leave it there until it cools. You just saved your whole kitchen and possibly your house from burning to the ground. At a cost of two of these for $20, its really not something you should even need to consider for long. Make the purchase and place these where you can get to them in the blink of an eye. What could be more important than the safety of your family? Accidents happen. Be prepared!

> 3 dayGreat size for the kitchen/grill. This 40x40 blanket is a great size to cover a standard 4-burning stovetop or outdoor BBQ grill. I was surprised at the thickness. They feel very sturdy and I have no doubt they will smother any small stovetop or grill fires. Much easier to use the a standard fire extinguisher. Ill be keeping one of these by my stove, one at my grill, another as a spare, and giving the fourth to a family member. Great value for all that fire protection!
