Ive used probably a couple dozen hoof treatments over the years and this one is the only one I have found to actually help with hoof cracking. It requires a lot of time when hoof growth is slow but it does help along with daily biotin and good all around nutrition.

Rain maker is a great product. Keeps hoofs flexibility right. Use all year round. In hot weather cold weather and rainy weather. Helps keep nail clinches tight throughout a shoeing cycle by using regularly.

Hard to get the product out of the container and paint it on the hoof. The product is very thick and gel-ish. As I use it, I think it will be more difficult to get out of the container. As for how it works, Im really not sure how it compares to other similar products. This is the first time Ive purchased this type of product.

Good for dry weather. But does not stay put in rain or foggy conditions & heading into winter where horses will encounter rain in soggy pasture; this blend does not stay put. So using in stall at night and slathering good old cheap pine tar upon turnout.

My farrier says this product works well on my horses hooves (used for the past 2+ years). Anything that helps a thoroughbreds hooves has to be a good thing!
