We have used this for several months now on our two horses in Western Colorado which is very dry in the summer. It seems to help keep their hooves in good shape. The farrier notices when we Dont use it. It has a distintive smell which follows the horse around for a few hours afterwards. They dont seem to mind.

I have a carriage business and love this product to shine up my horses hoofs at any event. The hooves stay shiny throughout the event. The hooves look great. This is a must have for show horses.

My horse is a Tennessee Walker and he has soft and dry/brittle front feet (I was told thats a typical Walker hoof) so I LOVE the Farnam Rainmaker! I ran out but after only 3 applications, hie feet are soft, no more cracks and new growth has started - AND its winter time which his hooves barely grow in winter! Great price too!!

Took 2 months. No change in diet or Farrier. Food was the same... Weather drier weather than usual, Ive had my 23 yr old Paso Fino for 3 years and his feet finally have no cracks!!!!!!!!!!

Hard to get the product out of the container and paint it on the hoof. The product is very thick and gel-ish. As I use it, I think it will be more difficult to get out of the container. As for how it works, Im really not sure how it compares to other similar products. This is the first time Ive purchased this type of product.

Thank you Amazon for being environmentally responsible and sending me a product not in one of your plastic prime mailer envelopes that can not be recycled anywhere. And this product is good too. I use it every other day and my horse never has cracked hooves in the hot dry summer.
