I used this timer to control my outside garden fountain. I needed a timer that I could work remotely and manually with a button to avoid having to unplug the fountain and its light from the wall socket each time it was used. I have used this type of timer for my outside deck lights for about 2 years without an issue. The seller was excellent in not charging a $6 delivery fee on a $15 item. The item was received in 3 days which was earlier that expected. I would use this seller again.

Was a bit tricky to set up with Alexa but has worked flawlessly since.

I put an aeration system into our pond and wanted to run a custom schedule. I plugged my two pumps into the Feit plug, and voila, I control my pumps through an app on my phone. The plug and app are super easy to navigate and control. Thanks for a great product!

I bought a couple of these because I already have a bunch of Feit floodlight/security cameras installed. I can control every device from one app and also send out commands via Google Home. Im using one of these plugs to run my space heater in my basement office. I can just hit the button in the Feit app or do a Hey Google, turn off office heater. HOWEVER, you MUST have a 2.4GHz-only network set up to use any of the Feit products, and they are very susceptible to interference. I have a tech background and I was able to string together a bunch of old routers and set them to specific frequencies so the Feit devices would get reliable connections throughout my house and my garage, but someone that doesnt have a background in setting up wireless networks is probably going to get frustrated with these devices dropping on and off their network. If you have a mesh network set up in your house, be prepared to create a separate 2.4GHz network with additional routers and range extenders if you want these things to work.

I purchased indoor Feit smart plugs which linked easily and quickly. Therefore, I purchased this outdoor smart plug. However, the outdoor plug did not link as easily. I was about to return it when it finally linked to my wifi.

We bought these to plug in our Christmas lights and decor so we don’t have to go out and turn them on and off! Worked great they are not water proof so make sure you keep them out of the rain

I don’t use Alexa, however wi-if works as expected. Would buy again if needed.

Nice plug that works well until it doesn’t. I’ve got two of these in locations that are not real close to an access point. They work great for a while but will drop off the network every week or so. Then I have to reset them and reconnect to the network. Why don’t they try to reconnect? Clearly they CAN connect, since I can reset them and then they work for a while. But sooner or later they’ll drop the connection and not reconnect. Locate these where you have a strong signal and they’ll be fine. Otherwise prepare to be flummoxed.

Works just like I wanted it to! Have a lot of feit smart things around the house and they all work just like they should! Great being able to sit timers or turn on/off from my phone, and works great with all my Google home stuff
