> 3 dayYes they scratch easily but, they have been a great tool for us to keep unwanted objects in the drain. You can emptying easily by dumping in the trash.

Greater than one weekI was very surprised at the quality of this product! Looks great and works great! Heavy duty, not some sort of flimsy mesh that you get at other stores. Cleans easily, just push it to the side to lift it out of the drain. (It took me a few attempts to figure that out.) I measured first, but I have a standard sink drain.

> 3 dayI should have gotten them years ago. This may be a savor for my garbage disposal. We had to get a new garbage disposal. The other one was making a lot of noice...thank goodness it was not because I lost a plastic fork in it! but I have done so before so decided to try these strainers for two sinks I have in the kitchen. Very well worth the cost. It catches a lot of food and other debris.
