> 3 dayI used this on on older dressage bridle that was dull looking no matter how much I conditioned it. This made it look shiny and new again!

> 3 dayExcellent product I am only a hobbyist leatherworker, but from my research into what some of the professional leatherworkers whose work I admire are using, and having used the product myself, Tan Kote is now my top coat of choice. This product is easy to work with, its resists moisture and when dry, it gives my projects a nice mellow finish. Additionally, it allows you to clean and oil the leather when needed. It’s a bit pricey, in my opinion, but just about everything associated with leatherworking is. Although, it would be an added benefit if Fiebings could see their way clear in easing up on the price point.

> 3 dayFrom my understanding this product is designed to be applied once all dye and antique is done to protect the finished product and condition the leather. It is not designed to waterproof leather at all. If you are painting designs into tooling leather, use Super Sheen on the painted areas to prevent antique or stains from discoloring. Once all is dry, Tan-Kote could be the final finishing product applied. If you are antique tooling on leather, apply antique stain then if you do not want other colors to bleed into that area, apply the Super Sheen. Super Sheen is a finish conditioner in itself, but can also be used as the final finish to condition leather, but its magic is in protecting areas you have painted or stained or antique that you dont want to change. If you have completed all your dye, staining and/or antique, use Tan-Kote as the final finish to protect and condition leather project. It is a great product, but should not be confused with super sheen nor waterproofing. To waterproof, use mink oil or neatfoot oil or product with those abilities that can also condition but is more to restore, condition and waterproof.

> 3 dayUsed this to repair a leather tote. Blended very well with the tote’s camel color. I applied a couple of coats, but went back and applied coats again a few days later. Be patient with this. I used a q-tip to apply it. It might look clear, but it will dry the tan color.

Greater than one weekI dont know what went wrong, but when I started wiping this on after letting the dye dry many days, it started lifting the dye off the boots! It is supposed to seal it so the dye wont come off, but did just the opposite. Dont know what to do now.
