Heh, heh, heh...the ultimate grandparents gift to a toddler! Its colorful, its extremely well-made as are all Fisher-Price toys & its loud :) I have vivid memories to this day of when my sons grandma and grandpa gave him his first Fisher-Price xylophone & it quickly became a favorite. It lasted through several other kids & I do believe he regifted it to a family member 25 yrs. later as soon as his own daughter grew out of it & into a keyboard. Now his son will have one, too. Sonny cant complain, as hes very big on family traditions. LOL

A wonderful little toy.....string is too short...we added on.

It is exactly what its supposed to be. Baby likes it, husband likes it, its a winner. I know the string is so short for safety, but an uncoordinated baby/young toddler sometimes has an issue using the stick because of the string. I just cut it off and we deal with losing the stick sometimes. Luckily you can bang on the keys with about anything.

This xylophone is a great concept - the wand is attached to a string so it doesnt get lost. The string is too short though. It can only play a tune if its positioned just right. Too hard for a toddler to figure out. Maybe just an inch or two more in length and it would be perfect. Now, pretty useless.

Daughter loves it, but the orange and green key sound a bit muffled / flat. I notice it every time I play something for her, but she doesn’t so I guess it’s okay.

A gift similar to my generation and my grand daughter loves it.

I got it for my chickens. They don’t play it but it keeps them from places I don’t want them to dig to escape. It is a colorful addition to the pen.
