> 3 dayYou can never go wrong with Fluke leads and clips on a Fluke meter. Cheap brands do not work as well and often arent compatible.

Greater than one weekI looked at these in the store for years. But in the store one of the probes was missing from the package. I kept going back and searching for these probes. They were always out of stock. Finally, I realized that I could order them from Amazon. I am so sorry that I waited so long to buy them. They are terrific. Instead of normal alligator clips which have such a small pivot that they fall off of anything larger than 1/4 these will grip onto a 1/2 nut. It makes a world of difference to be able to clip on to the test point and then not worry about it falling off.

> 3 dayThis works well when it works, but I find my self having to clamp it on a wire, check my multimeter, and if it doesnt get a reading, I need to clamp this thing down again and again until the probe actually finds the wire strands and gets a good connection. It works great on 12-14 gauge wire but anything smaller than 14ga and youll have to take multiple readings to get an accurate one. My co-worker (Im an automotive electrician) has the other fluke piercing probes (tp81 probes) and though those take much longer to clamp to the wire (you need to twist them tight) they seem to be much more consistent.
