    Greater than one week

Es muy útil para que te vean y para saber los vehículos que vienen acercándose por atrás

This is a life saver when riding solo on back/country/rural roads. Not the best for group rides. Lots of false alarm. Overall a must cycling Gadget. OK battery life too if you are riding on main roads.

It does not not distinguish between an approaching car and your friends bike com from behind. So, in a platoon, you must be the last one. Lousely designed. Older versions never did that. Bad choice. Needs firmware revision.

I always use a mirror on my helmet but this adds additional safety and works well with my Wahoo Elemnt Roam. I had to turn the notification beeps off on my Wahoo though - it just got annoying to hear it beep all the time. But I do use the visual lights on the Wahoo and also the Garmin app on the Varia is easy to see. I have my iPhone mounted on the stem of my bike and the Wahoo out front. This attached nicely to my Fizik saddle and still have room for a small saddle bag

I really like this radar / light. detects traffic way before I can hear them and lets me prepare for them coming. eats up a little extra battery life on my garmin 520 but well worth it. I cant ride without it now.

I was skeptical - I bought it anyway and bought the Garmin 530 to work with it. You can connect it to other devices, like a cell phone, but I cant comment on that. But with the 530 it gave error free feedback on cars approaching me from behind. I got no false alarms and no extra beeps or blinks. This is a really great device. It gave a warning beep and dot when one came into (its) view. If 2 cars approach, you get 2 dots. The display was red until the cars had passed, and the dots move up the screen to give you some proximity. I have issues with the Garmin 530 user interface, but this radar unit is a must have!

Have been very surprised at how super useful the radar function is. It works very well and gives you a much better overview of whats going on around you as you dont have to turn your head back nearly as often. Also, even in the very heavy traffic I often ride in, my Garmin shows enough info about the relative distance and speed of approaching cars and motor bikes that I feel a lot better able to gauge the traffic situation around me. Originally I thought I would have it off inside the city - but I always have it on. Also like how you can set it up for daytime/nighttime strength etc. Never ride without. Some people are worried about the rubber bands that keep the unit into place. Made me worry too. however, I ride some VERY rough roads and also flipped my bike once after being swiped by a car :-( -still the Garmin unit is sitting there safe and secure while my water bottles exploded around me. Fortunately theyre a lot cheaper to replace. Highly recommended.

See and be seen with Varia RTL515 rearview radar with tail light. It pairs with your Edge bike computer, other Garmin device or compatible smartphone to alert you of vehicles approaching from behind up to 153 yards (140 meters) away. When used with your compatible smartphone, the Varia app helps increase your awareness with vibration alerts and more. With daylight visibility up to 1 mile, motorists will be able to see you from a distance. The radar’s compact vertical design allows for device mounting on most road-use bicycles. And peloton mode provides a low-intensity flash that is kind to other riders’ eyes when riding in a group.
