Greater than one weekThis heating pad is inconsistent with the heat. Sometimes high is hot and sometimes its not. When its not I simply turn it off and start again. I wish it was consistent.

> 3 dayI have purchased 2 of these heating pads. They each worked great and lasted about 1 year before the wires became exposed near the temperature control unit and they stopped working. Both heating pads broke in the exact same place, even when I was extra careful when using and putting away with the second one after the first broke... no tight cable when plugged in and no wrapping cord tight, and the second pad still broke in the same place. For the price and how often I use it, I do think I got my monies worth for the most part, just disappointed that both units succumbed to the same fate.
