> 3 dayI used this tape to repair the bed cover of my truck. I tried to do the repair with other tape but they all failed including flexi tape. Take a little care for a better chance at success. I first brought the cover inside to be in a warm dry place. I cleaned the area with alcohol. I waited a day to let the cover reach room temperature. The tape should also be at the same temperature. I cut a length of tape and rounded the corners. Then I carefully applied the tape. I left the taped cover in the warm space for a couple of days to let the adhesive cure and bond.

> 3 dayI am using this to waterproof a door threshold that has asphalt shingles lapped under it. The asphalt shingles cracked under foot traffic. So I am using this to lay over the asphalt and tuck under the metal door threshold to fix a water leak problem. (its a storage space in a two story car garage, and this area gets rain water when it blows against the door.). what I had to do, to make this work is remove the top layer of sand embedded in the asphalt shingles so this tape will lay flat with no voids and all the edges will hold down. This was much cheaper to fix a problem that trying to replace the asphalt shinges (the previous owner glued them down). I used a 6 inch metal scraper to remove the surface sand in the asphalt under the shingles were flat. Then I applied this gorilla patch tape. For extra grab, I used a heat gun while rolling a 6 metal pipe (like a bread roller), starting from center and working out toward the edges. This really helped the adhesives lock into the asphalt. I expect this repair to fix a water leak that was going to eventually cause lots of problems with the framing under the door threshold. Not bad for less than 20 bucks. good stuff

> 3 dayI am gonna give this tape a real waterproof test, as I used it to repair the seams on my pool solar cover. The solar sits in the water for days, so we will see how it holds up. So far so good. This roll is a little pricey, given how short a length of tape you get. So hopefully it lasts.

> 3 dayMy kids were talking to the cat who then jumped up (and poked a hole) in our brand new Coleman hot tub. In the morning the tub was significantly deflated so I used A dab of E6000 glue to patch the spot and let it dry for the full cure time. I then applied the patch included with the tub by the manufacturer. Since it was a small circular patch and I wanted to cover a larger area around the hole, I also ordered a roll of this Gorilla Glue patch tape. I don’t know if the tape played a significant role, but it’s been a few months now and the tub still has not leaked air. However, with the steam coming from the 104 degree water and the hot sun beating down on the tub all day, it has slid out of place a bit. There’s a sticky layer that has formed, which comes off quick and easy with a small amount of acetone on a paper towel. Although I’m not a big fan of the mess I gave this product 4 stars for staying in place under these conditions. The peeling edge that you see is due to the boyfriend pushing the tackiness back up towards the tape and wouldnt have occurred without his assistance. I read all of the reviews before purchasing this product and am adding mine here so you can see how this tape holds up in 90+ degree weather with moisture. It’s still there, but it will shift when applied to a curved surface subject to gravity and repeated placing and removing of the insulated tub cover.

Greater than one weekGorilla products are normally great, but this product was far from that. I tried to wrap up a low pressure waterhose that had a small cut in it but the water pressure ripped right through this tape. The tape stayed stuck to the hose but within less than 1 minute had a large slit ripped open in the side. It may work better for other repairs because it is very sticky on 1 side, but it did not work well for me.

> 3 dayProduct stopped my sink leak for about 15 minutes and then it came back, I followed the instructions perfectly. Unfortunately this product will not work for all leaks and it is extremely difficult to remove, almost like a putty.
