I bought the Govee Dual Smart Plug 4 Pack, 15A WiFi Bluetooth Outlets because I love Govee products and the Govee Andriod Application. I use the Govee Andriod software to monitor ambient air temperatures in my computer case and control the lights on my computer cabinet (those lights provide ambient mood lighting & trigger visual warnings when temperatures are getting critical inside my computer tower). With these power outlets, I can control the power of things that are a part of my office/studio. It made sense to add the Govee Dual Smart Plug Outlets into the mix. I plugged all 4 Smart Plugs into the same power strip because certain things need to be on when others may need to be off. I love turning devices on and off with an Android device. The Govee app is easy (at least for me) to set up and utilize. The outlets also give a satisfying audible click when you turn them on and off. I also love that I can turn one side of the outlet on and the other off or both off if Im not using the outlet. I feel like an astronaut turning my computer on and off. Lots of buttons to press and things to monitor, and colorful lights. (starting score: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) The Govee App doesnt currently allow the functionality to flip outlets around in the application, making it an annoyance to figure out which outlet is on which side. I labeled each dual outlet device with a number (1, 2, 3 & 4) with some masking tape, and then I had to turn each outlet on and off to determine if it was the left side or the right side. Its not a big deal, as I figured it out, but that would have been easy to program into their application (they currently let you do it with their Govee Lively Light Bars). The UI in the application is comically oversized for what it is. I can only see four outlets on one screen, where they could have easily reduced the amount of UI space needed to see at least a dozen outlets on one screen. I also would have appreciated a Widget functionality on the Andriod device so I could turn things on and off without loading the Govee app but rather from my devices home screen. I would love to have given these a 5-star review, but I found some unfortunate realities to owning these outlets... The outlets lack integration and automation (such as turning things on or off when the Govee Thermometers reach a certain temperature). Not having this capability is quite an oversight. Itd be great to have a Govee thermometer reading the room temperature and then have the Govee Outlet turn some other device on or turn off (like a fan or an air conditioner) when temperature thresholds have been passed. With the Govee Lively Lights, I can currently do this and I have the lights turn on and turn off when ambient computer temperatures reach a certain point. I cant get these outlets to do anything except manually turn them on and off or specify certain hours to turn them on or turn them off. I expected more functionality and integration into the Govee ecosystem with a smart outlet but it came up short. I can live without these functions, but I need clarification on why this functionality is missing. Itd be an awesome product if it were smarter. I know Govee frequently updates their devices with firmware updates, so it may exist someday. (-⭐) I should also be able to designate what kind of communication method I want the device to use instead of hogging up every Bluetooth communications channel with outlets Im not interested in interacting with. My Andriod tablet can only support a maximum of 7 Bluetooth device connections at once. If I try to add more outlets, I may run into issues with being unable to read a more important BlueTooth device (for example, a thermometer in my computer). These outlets use both WiFi and Bluetooth. How the device decides which to use is beyond me. I havent witnessed anything like this happening yet, but I am aware of hardware limitations. I wish Govee had made outlets available in black and white. I dont mind the color white, but sometimes I dont want to draw attention to a power outlet. I should be able to turn the outlet indicator light on and off while leaving the outlet on or off. They could have also added an LED to allow the Govee outlet to work as a nightlight. (-⭐) It will serve the purpose I intended to buy it for. Still, there isnt as much tender loving care for these outlets from Govee compared to other Govee products. These smart outlets need to be smarter. I would recommend these if you are looking for a basic remote on/off smart outlet. However, this is one bun that needs to go back into the oven. A 3-star rating implying its just ok is a fair assessment of the Govee Dual Smart Plug. (Final result: ⭐⭐⭐)

Ive tried nearly a dozen different affordable smart outlet options. Govee smart plugs are very quickly becoming my favorite. I do tend to prefer their single smart plugs though. While I do love the single smart plugs, I also really love these dual smart plugs since I live in an older house and some rooms dont have many outlets. The dual smart plug acts as a splitter and lets me independently control whatever I plug in. Its incredibly handy and doubles my outlet space in rooms where Im lucky to have a single outlet normally. Before I got the Govee single smart plugs I was using these on small extension cords in my tropical plant cabinets. Theyre really nice because they dont overlap other outlets even on small power strips. They are wide though, so it would depend on the orientation of the plugs in your power strip. The Govee outlets are some of the easiest smart plugs Ive ever set up. Ive not come across issues where they dont pair or arent detectable like I have with other brands. They also seem to reconnect themselves pretty well when my power goes out or if I unplug them. I havent had to re-pair them or reset them. They work really well with my Amazon Alexa devices AND with the Apple Home features. I previously used these specific outlets to automatically control fans and grow lights in my tropical plant cabinets. These plants are really sensitive to changes so having consistent light, heat, humidity, and general conditions are really important. I use a modified Ikea cabinet and I use these Govee outlets with my Amazon Alexa routines to control nearly everything. This also gives me the ability to turn them on or off as needed by just asking Alexa. Im not sure if these outlets are meant for humid environments though. I worked around that by placing a piece of tape over the side buttons and over any unused portion of the outlet. Specifically the ground hole of the plug used for my fans. I havent had any issues with humidity while doing this. I will also add that because I hide the cables and plugs in my cabinet Im never using them manually. The tape may mess with the buttons if youre using them manually on a regular basis. I also really like Govee in general because they provide affordable options for smart devices. Ive had really positive experiences with their Wifi Smart Bulbs, Single Smart Plug, LED light strips, and Flow Plus LED Light Bars. Because of this Im also considering replacing my current humidifiers and thermometer/hygrometers with the Govee options! The Govee app in general has been incredibly reliable and easy to navigate. Its super simple to connect to other apps and Im generally a huge fan.

I love these! Install the app. Connect it to your alexa app. And my echo dot (5th gen) can turn them on and off for me! Especially when I dont want to move the couch to unplug something. Its so nice. I feel spoiled having these.

Great plug for use as a timer for lamps and on demand use with Alexa. Also can use remotely when not home.

The app that accompanies this makes the plugs very easy to change. I recommend, however, that you stick something on each plug to label it and then label it in the app accordingly. Otherwise unless you use them very often you won’t know how to change each one for a vacation setting. Another important recommendation: buy one brand of plugs and stick with it. I have these Govee plugs as well as another brand, and it is a mess to use both. Finally, and most rooms I do not need a dual plug, having only one thing to plug into it. I would have done better with eight separate plugs.

First of all, the Govee app is very simple and easy to use. The outlets found the Wifi my phone was on and connected quickly as well. I like how you can turn on/off each plug manually or from your phone, and set timers for any day of the week for each individual side--thats right, each plug has its own setup and you can name it in the app. The indicator lights on the plugs also let you know if it has power or not. Highly recommended.

Easy to use and set up and if you space them throughout your house they seem to extend the Wi-Fi signal farther than it should go

I used the outlets to turn on lights and a fan in a hard to reach place. Each outlet is separately controlled and is easily named and renamed. Installation went quickly and smoothly as did connecting it to Alexa. Alexa turned on and off each outlet as expected. Very happy thus far with the ease of use and ease of connecting to Alexa.

If youve been looking into smart plugs to turn your house into a Smart Home ... then just get these ones and stop your searching! Firstly, they turn your 1 plug into 2. Already a plus right out the box. Secondly, they are so easy to use with their app that it took no time at all. Lastly, but not least, Alexa integration was a breeze!! In a few minutes I had Alexa turning on/off my fan, tv, desk lamp, even my LED strips which arent Alexa controlled. (still need the remote to change the colours but if you keep them mostly on just one its perfect) After getting these smart plugs, i looked into the brand and ended up not only buying more plugs but also light bulbs and smart LED light strips for my TV. (Now i can change the colour of the lights without using the remote.) Great products.

I purchased these so that my lamps can automatically turn on when I get home and shut off when I go to bed. It works exactly how I wanted. Setting it up was very easy and controlling the outlet is a breeze. You can even control when not connected to your home wifi.
