> 3 dayI got this yesterday and I was really surprised by the quality of this cable. I installed Anderson connectors on each end and was perfect for my solar panel extension needs. BTW 30amp Anderson connectors fit perfect.

> 3 dayThis wire was perfect for hooking up my solar panels on my sailboat. Its also very flexible so I think it would work for tying someone up...you know...if you needed to do that.

Greater than one weekWeve used this wire for all our electrical system for the last two seasons. Its great and well buy more when we run out. It is nicely flexible and the insulation is pretty tough. We love that black and red wires are connected together. It makes snaking the wire around the robot much easier.

> 3 dayPrice great ! Insulation well made strips easily for making connection with proper wire stripper. I have Klein wire strippers and my 12 GA stripper matched wire perfectly so you get actual wire gauge with this GS product from my experience. 12 gauge to power my infinity reference two speakers overkill but at this price so what!

> 3 dayI brought the 25ft roll to upgrade existing old speaker wire connections I had. These are sized proper for 12 gauge and are real copper strands and not CCA (copper clad aluminum). A lot of heavy gauge speaker wire available now are mostly CCA which is more brittle and conducts less electricity per the same wire size. I was glad to find this one though. It may not be in a clear vinyl jacket or look fancy but it is high quality wiring to be used for home stereo speaker wire connections.

> 3 dayThis zip-cord has the typical PVC insulation in red/black color but also has an additional clear jacket covering the PVC. That clear jacket (not sure what material it is made out of) is slippery and abrasion resistant. There are pros and cons to that. The obvious advantage is that this cable pulls easy through raceways or conduits and even pulling it around a sharp corner is unlikely to damage the cable. The downside to that extra layer of insulation is that it also resists any attempts to strip the insulation to terminate the zip cord. If you look at some of the negative reviews you will find that people are easily irritated by the difficulties of stripping the insulation from the wires. However Im happy to spend a little extra effort when I have to terminate a new cable knowing that it will resist damage when used in a portable/mobile environment. I did not have any problems separating the red and black wire. I did not attempt to test whether it is truly 12 awg (but it appears to be) nor did I test whether it is pure copper.

Greater than one weekThis zip cord has honest - to - size, stranded (>30 strands) copper wire conductors. With a caliper, I measure a diameter of 0.102, and the standard nominal diameter for 12 awg is 0.104. Insulation looks good, too. Walls are certainly thick enough for low - voltage use, and even for 120VAC use, though this is not the recommended application. Outstanding value at this price!
