> 3 dayI have been looking for a backpacking mug that was short, had a lid, and inexpensive. This mug fit all the right characteristics for me. The best part was the measurements it has on the inside which was definitely a plus for me! I mostly use a mug like this for my oatmeal or other food that I can have steam inside the mug with the lid on. Its been perfect for food and for drinks, especially for the MRE electrolyte powder or Nuun tablets that I need 8 or 16 oz of water. I do have to admit that this is not insulated to keep coffee or tea warm for long periods of time. Its basically a plastic cup with a thin foam over it. The insulated cover does slip off the inside cup so I would not recommend hanging it from a backpack. Overall though, this cup does everything I need it do and Im extremely happy with my purchase. I look forward to using this when Im camping and backpacking everytime.

> 3 dayI really like this cup, I have three of them. After moderate use, however, the gasket becomes loose and you have to be really careful to keep it in place. That said this is still one of my favorite backpacking items.
