Ease of installation. Quality of light great.

Ordered a brand new set of lights and before I even opened the package I could tell this was from a return. The box is covered in tape and has clearly been returned.

I first bought LED lights from Costco, but they only dimmed about 30% before flickering (I installed the Lutron TGCL-153PR-WH dimmer switch). Then I bought the Tayola LED light off Amazon with same result, only about 30% dimming before flickering. Then I bought the HALO HLB6099FS1EMWR off Amazon. YEAH, no flicker when dimming all the way down to the light being barely on. Fantastic! I gave it only 3 stars for installation because it cannot use the existing 3 or 4 inch hole from the old light fixture, it needed a 6 inch hole. Not a huge problem, but it has to be done quite exactly because the outside edge of the new HALO light fixture only overlaps the hole by maybe 3/8 inch. If the hole gets cut too wide it would make a BIG problem. But I got it done and I love the lights! I replaced a 45 year old incandescent light fixture in a 9 x 13 bedroom. The light fixture was right next to the closet at the far end of the room and adjacent to the only window. The other end of the room, by the door, was always dark. I added a second new light toward the other end of the room. It is awesome now, thanks HALO!

These lights look very good in my outdoor terrace. Very satisfied with the product. I recommend them.

Easy to install, very low profile, adjustable color temperature, wide angle of diffusion, nice light. Looks great.

I didnt install them. The lights I ordered came in packages look like theyre used. Returned. I ordered halo SMD same size 6 5000k round trim. HLB is smaller compare to SMD. SMD doesnt need J-box or housing. SMD has 600 lumens brighness.

Bought 7 and only 6 worked. Waited to long for a return..

Nice quality product. Only complaint is that it doesnt become more amber in color as it is dimmed like incandescent. Why dont leds do that?

I purchased two 6 packs and installed them today. They are extremely easy to wire, even for someone who is only moderately experienced. They work well and dim easily. I mainly got them because my current cans are drafty to the point it felt like an air conditioner when you put your hand near the light on a cold, windy day. This seems to have solved this. I just bought another 2 packs to finish off my recessed lights.

Very easy to install compare to cans. I have it plugged to a dimmer switch. Looks great and has good brightness. However the only downside is that the color selector is not accessible unless you take out the light and change the jumper switch. So make sure you like the color before installation. I wish there was an easy way to change the color. Overall better than everything else.
