> 3 dayI use this product a lot, mostly for ripping out seams, but it has multiple uses. I cannot imagine a better product than this!

> 3 dayI don’t like where the blade is added because the screw is in the area where you hold the ripper & it rubs on the finger. Otherwise perfect!

Greater than one weekFor ripping seams the best tool. Once you master handling the seam with a clamp called the third hand. With free hand expose one stitch to gently cut by touching the very shap scalpel to the stitch. Gently pull apart the seam. Then repeat. Or on some materials, just gently slide blade down the seam between the 2 pieces of material. Practice on old garment to see how quick and easy.

> 3 dayFor anyone that has ever used a seam ripper (and that would be anyone who sews), the use of this scalpel is is a life-saver! Investment in the scalpel is well worth the money and the blades can be replaced, keeping your ripper sharp. I rated the ease of use as three out of five because you have to BE CAREFUl when you are ripping or you will cut fabric. With careful use, the is a real time saver.

Greater than one weekFor those who never make a mistake. Move on. For the rest of us, this tool makes quick work of the dreaded task of unsewing. The blade is slender and easily slips under stitches to provide systematic cuts that that can easily be lifted out the opposite side. A good pair of tweezers is a nice addition to grab lingering threads. I like having a lifetime tool (the main unit) with replaceable element.
