This phone is great. It is literally like an iPhone xs max but better, for less than a fraction of the cost. The size is great! The display is beautiful! The notch is hardly noticable! Its super fast and smooth. I have cricket and my phone has no problem using a cricket sim. The display is bright and beautiful. The face unlock is really good! Only sometimes when youre in a darker area the ephone cant really read youre face which is understandable. The phone charges so quick! And the battery last a while (and I love to watch shows and movies all day). Ive only had it for a day so I havent tried out the camera quality yet(Ill update In a few days when I do) over a this phone is amazing( the fact that I got is for less than. $200 is a steal!!!) You will be very satisfied if you get this phone trust me.

These are the type of thing that you do not complement, because it might just blow up in your hands. I am just kidding, this phone is a solid smartphone, camera is great and very responsive, night pictures can be taken if you don`t shake yourself that much and they look good. It fulfills the my needs, and that is the question you have to make to yourself, does this specs fulfill what i need or is this too much, maybe too little. For this price range this phone is great, not lagging, no wireless or mobile data problems.

Got this for my daughters 10th Bday, she loves it. I have a Huawei Mate 10 Pro myself, same company. I am done with samsung overpriced trash. I can control my phones not samsung! Will never buy another samsung!

Absolutely amazing phone. The camera is great but better when photos are taken in photo mode I enjoy large screen phones so this is just the perfect phone. The graphics are great. I dont have any complaints.

The phone itself is beautiful but, sadly, I was unable to complete the initial setup. It would get stuck on one screen for a while and then go back to the beginning of the setup process all over again. Spent a considerable amount of time with Huawei customer service but with no luck. Huawei is banned by our government and as far as I know, Google has dropped them. I didnt realize all this when ordering the phone, and I believe that may have had something to do with not being able to complete the setup. Ironically, the customer service rep said you shouldnt really buy foreign international phones. If thats the case, why does Huawei have American customer service.....confusing. Anyway, purchase at your own risk!

El teléfono me llegó hace una semana y estoy muy complacido con el producto. El tamaño de pantalla es increíble y la calidad de imagen es buena, el teléfono se siente firme y sólido, no es muy pesado para lo que uno esperaría de un teléfono de este tamaño. La huella digital y el reconocimiento facial son instantáneos y me encanta usarlos. La batería dura mucho ya que es de 4000 mA. El EMUI (la interfaz gráfica del sistema) es cómodo y bastante personalizable. El único problema que he tenido es que la aplicación de Google no le funciona la sección de Discovery donde salen noticias y artículos interesantes, al parecer varía gente ha tenido ese problema y no sé si con el tiempo se solucionará pero a mí no me detiene de disfrutar el teléfono. El modelo L23, el que les debería llegar, está desbloqueado y debería funcionar con sus proveedores de servicios móviles. Soy de Centro América y uso Tigo y no tengo problemas con esto. ALERTA! Si van a comprar el teléfono les recomiendo hacerlo por MVD Mobile, ya que he visto otras reseñas que dicen haberlo comprado de proveedores como TechnoMaster y les llega el modelo equivocado. Lo pedí por MVD Mobile y me llegó el modelo correcto L23. Si les llega el modelo incorrecto, L22, lo más probable tengan problemas usando el teléfono con su proveedor de servicios móviles. En general creo que el mejor teléfono para el rango de precio. Se los recomiendo a cualquiera buscando un muy buen teléfono con un presupuesto medio.

Just switched from a Motorola G6 Forge (and before that an iPhone 6s), and Im thrilled to have found the Honor 8x. I did receive the JSN-L23 as advertised... And as soon as I popped the sim in, it worked. I get 4g with Cricket in Nebraska. Cant speak for any other networks or areas, but it works here. Data speed is roughly the same as it was on my Motorola G6 on the same network. The thing that sold me on this phone was watching YouTube reviews where they compared it to the new iPhone XR/S. Basically, its NEARLY as good. Depressingly close. It doesnt have waterproofing (but you could buy nearly 4 of them for the same price as an iPhone, so yeah), and the speaker does leave a little bit to be desired, but the camera is great, response time is incredibly fast, the battery charges slowly but it lasts 1.5 days, the screen is straight up beautiful, pics honestly dont do it justice... And whatever version of Android it came with isnt half bad. (Which is saying something coming from me because I had 3 different android phones beforplutely despised the OS on all 3.) If there were an $899 Huawei phone, the thing would probably consist of alien technology. They basically just made a $214 iPhone XR. Would highly recommend. Will update the review if it goes downhill, but this thing feels like its built to last. So far, Ill definitely be buying another Huawei to replace this one when I need it.

I reside in the United States in the North GA mountains. I was skeptical about buying because people on here werent getting the right version, someone said they dont get service with the phone, another said you cant update it in the US. Idk what theyre doing wrong because mine is perfect. Working great with Cricket Wireless. I couldnt be more pleased for a $200 phone Im beyond impressed.

Ive had this phone for a few years, and I am about to purchase a different brand phone for more storage options.... But I must give credit where it is due. This phone has worked well and continues to work well consistently. I am sure I still havent explored all of the various features, but it was an excellent, excellent value for a budget phone. I highly recommend it.

I purchased this phone as the last in a long line of honor phones. From the 4x to here, and I think this one has surpassed the prior ones in most every manner, it feels glamorous and is responsive even after months of use. However, a case is a necessity. Even with a case, I shattered the glass back of the screen after maybe a month.
