> 24 hourThis is a great solution to make a better sound and stabilize the album which is not flat. Highly recommended for your vinyl life.

> 24 hourI mean, its a hunk of metal in the right shape to hold your record firmly against your turntable. What else is there to say. If you dont have one, and you listen to a lot of records, you should definitely have one.

> 24 hourEven if this record weight cannot completely overcome/control badly warped vinyl records, it apparently works fine as a semi-stabilizer. The chrome one I ordered is quite beautiful and heavy enough for my direct drive turntable (Denon DP-52F). Furthermore, its short height would not touch the closed dust-cover. Finally, the quality of packaging indicates the high quality of the product (it is designed and developed in NYC, yet is made in China). P.S. Incidentally it might work as a thermometer! because its from touching it that I noticed for the first time that the turntable motor has got too hot!! Just in case... :)

> 24 hourThis was a little to tall to work while the dust cover was down, However it was close enough to almost close so there was not a noticeable difference in look. Did not help with warps but held my more slippery records down well. The weight was fine not slowing my intro turntable too much but a very slight noticeable slowdown. I use this enough to say it was worth the price at least. 3.5 stars if I could.

> 24 hourNothing wrong with the stabilizer itself. But I bought the variation with the leather pad. They didnt bother to glue the pad to the stabilizer. This is either a lack of quality control, assuming they meant to glue it, or contempt for the customer, if they think proving a separate, easily lost, and really it should be glued on but isnt bit of leather is honest marketing.

> 24 hourPlaying a record is a bit of a ritual for me as Im sure it is for many of you. This adds another step to the ritual that makes it all the more satisfying. If the felt on your platter is good quality with enough grip, I dont really think this product to be necessary in most cases. The only instances when it seems beneficial is if you have a slightly warped record or if the pressing is cheap/light weight. The extra weight from this product can flatted a warped record and stop a light weight one from dragging. But if you have a dragging record, youve also got quality issues with your stylus or your record player altogether. Once again, I think it is a nice, but not a necessary addition to my setup.
