Great addition to helix 9 - much clearer than standard 455khz SI

Not completely installed on the G3 for high speed fish location. But the one I installed for the Ranger has worked great for over 7 years.

This transducer works perfect and I can detect structure to the sides of my boat as well as direccly below. The key is to but the correct transducer for your unit. This is not the transducer for a 798 series unit so pay attention when you order. I was amazed the first time I used my unit with side imaging in a harbor with boat slips that I could visually see on my side imaging unit as I idled by them and could see the slips and their supports as I went by.

Down imaging is about the same but side imaging is amazing. Metal bracket is a huge upgrade as well. Never kicks up running wide open

I bought this unit as a replacement for my portable fish finder. Works great as did the original. I replaced it because the original was accidentally damaged.
