> 3 dayIve been using these lifelines for several years personally and for clients. As most tree stand falls occur during ascent and descent, the lifeline is the only way to stay safe during these vulnerable times. They are super simple to use, there isnt a price you can put on making sure you return home the same way that left. The reflective threads make it easy to find your exact tree in the dark as well. -Dustin

Greater than one weekUsed it twice, and on the second use the swivel-lock on the carabiner jammed in the locked position. Before the hunt it was connected to the harness and closed by hand, and not tight. At the end of the hunt I couldnt open it by hand, had to take the harness off, leave the harness hanging on the line at the base of the tree, and go get a vice grips to open the swivel. After I got it open I tried it again after. Sure enough, the swivel rotates to the close/locked position with no problem by hand, but will not budge when you try to rotate it the other way and open it by hand. Not great, and disappointing for sure.
