This cable really is soft. It can bend very easily. That makes routing this cable no problem at all. The size matched with all the crimp ends I used so I assume its accurate. It can be difficult not to cut the actual wiring when stripping the sheathing so be careful because they are very very thin to help make the cable more flexible. When crimping with set screw type connectors, a few wires will likely flake out so I used some heat shrink tubing to keep it tidy and help them frem seperating.

Compared to copper this wire has a significantly higher resistance and is the most important purpose of ANY wire,for all purposes,regardless if its being used for welding,Rec. vehicle accessories,car audio,etc. and this specific wire has a very high resistance because of the aluminum being used..copper is by far has superior low resistance and is the best you can get unless you can afford custom gold stranded wire? With high resistance you get heat which will basicly strain the components using it? If you need wire for purpose,use copper and if cost os most important to you,use this aluminum clad!

I added a battery to the trunk of my drag car and didnt want heavy welding cable but also wanted wire with a lot of strands for cranking amps and this stuff worked great! no voltage drop and not all plastic cover with no wire like some cable.
