> 3 dayThe price is too good to be true. This stuff is not really copper, but thin copper coated aluminum, which conducts electricity very poorly. Wired this into my vintage truck, and I was loosing voltage with this wire. It would also get hot and the thin strands would melt at the battery posts. I took it out of my vehicle and tossed it promptly. I replaced it with real copper wire — noticed a significant difference with UL rated marine grade copper wires. Copper isn’t cheap, but you don’t want to burn up your vehicle with this cheap stuff. Everyone I’ve talked to has described CCA wire as complete junk. Don’t mess with this wire — buyer beware! It’s not safe for automotive use. Serious fire hazard.

> 3 dayIdk why anyone would intentionally buy Copper Clad Aluminum wire. Keyword there is aluminum wire. Most people who buy this don’t know what they’re buying and maybe never will. Hopefully, this lack of knowledge doesn’t start too many electrical fires. BUY 100% copper wire or maybe even 99.9% oxygen free copper if you have money to burn. Or at least look up how much power CCA wires can handle, don’t use the chart that is for copper wire. It’s not the same. For example, it’s illegal to use CCA wiring in a home, in the US because of the risk of fire. Even Ethernet cables have to be copper, can’t be CCA. Make sure you fuse you power wires. Some companies, like Amazon basic speaker wire, aren’t very forthright that the wire is CCA and not copper but this company makes it as obvious as they should so that’s appreciated.

> 3 dayHigh quality cable that will carry the current of the battery from the back of the truck, to the starter without creating a drop in voltage. I will buy this cable again.

> 3 dayThis wire is copper coated aluminum not copper. It works but that is why it is cheap. This was not obvious to me when I bought it so I felt a bit decieved but then again I was shopping on price. On the upside the jacketing is very durable and should hold up.
