This is the first scoop I have experienced that feels good in my hand and does a good job. It is light weight , sturdy and just the right size and shape. The rounded corners are a plus and it is easy to clean. ~Only receiving 4 stars because my first one’s handle broke off the scoop after 3 years. Three years of solid service is good however and so I ordered another…delighted when it arrived today!

Ill never use a plastic one again.

Got this to replace a broken plastic scoop. It seems very sturdy and doesn’t bend at all when I use it. But it is only nonstick when the litter is dry, and anywhere a cat has peed the litter becomes like clay, and that always sticks to the scoop.

Cat presents have always been a problem to clean. The shovels made of plastic bend and are hard to clean. I have 4 cats in the house with 2 very large litter boxes that are cleaned every day. I clean the shovels outside every 2 days with a hose on the hard stream. Cleaning left over poop isnt a problem, bending or breaking cat shovels is never considered. I own 2 now, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs.

As cat parent of 4 kitties getting the best scoop is important and after trying almost every scoop there is, this is the best scoop…not only does it captures the tiniest clump but it also sifts thoroughly and quickly. Love the deep shovel and ergonomic design. Bought one lasted me a good FIVE years (I scoop more than 5x per day) before it finally turned a little bit loose which I simply added some glue and it was good as new. LOVE.

I really liked the plastic (I think ABS) scoop, however after a couple of months it snapped off at the handle. I was thankful that they made a similar design in aluminum, as I like the design of the grooves, size and weight. So far it has met all my requirements and deserves an outstanding rating.

Works great and saves me from having to bending over so far.
