> 3 dayLet me start by saying that I dont consider myself an audiophile. Im just a guy who can tell the difference between this speaker and that one. My Andrew Jones Pioneers were darn good especially for the price. People described them as warm and neutral sounding. Yeah, I agree with that. Along the way I picked up some JBL Loft 40s for my desk. They had a really good amount of low end for their size, and they too sounded warm. In fact Id dare to say they sound a lot like the Pioneers. Now onto the fun stuff. These little beauties sound as good as they look. I ran them without a sub and holy wow was I impressed at the amount of bass that the S803s were pumping out. They sound clean, and it sounds stupid but i felt as if the music and movies that I tested really jumped out at me, as if the speakers were closer than they really were. I liked it. The center and the surrounds are matched and good for HT, but they lack low end. Thankfully we all own subs (if you dont you should really pause right here and focus on that first. Also, SVS. Youre welcome). At this point Ive seen all of the reviews on the internet and Im going to side with Z reviews. He nailed it. Sure, there might be trickery at work here with how good these sound, but I dont really care. My ears are over the moon. In the pictures you can see the S801 is around the same size as the JBL Loft 40. The S803s are quite a bit larger in every dimension. Youll also notice the add on ATM 8 atmos module. Those werent included in this set, I was just trying to show how they all look together (theyre also a must buy IMO, but this review isnt about them). Im in the middle of moving so I put the center and surrounds back in the box. For now Im going to spoil myself with the front LR+heights only. For the price of this set youre not going to find better speakers.

> 3 dayI must admit, these are mindblowing. Im no audiophile but just the average consumer that listens to pandora and television. These things paired with Klipsches cheapest 12 subwoofer make amazing room filling sound. I would not hesitate to buy this again. Also, I have these paired to a ancient yamaha rx-v371 AVR which can prob be had for 100 bucks online. 200 speakers 100 amp, 150 subwoofer = 450 for a complete 5.1 system is crazy

> 3 dayDon’t let the pictures fool you, these are not small. For reference, the tv in the background is a 65 inch lg c2. The current bookshelf speakers are 13 inches tall and 8lbs. The jamo 801 (rear speakers) are the same size. The jamo 803s are literally almost twice as big as the current speakers. (Very deep, over 8 inches deep and almost 12 lbs and 14 inches tall.) These are very clean crisp speakers. The best thing is the looks in my opinion. However the sound for the price is nothing to scoff at. These are a bargain. I would recommend these to anyone needing a 5.0 setup. These need a subwoofer to extract the full potential but at $150 for the s808 subwoofer. You are less than $400 for a whole 5.1 with proper sized bookshelf speakers and center channel.

> 3 dayThicc sound quality for the price. Loving my living room now. Feels like I brought iMax home. With the right head unit/sub combo plus some bass shakers added to my love seat. Complete package for that dolby sound. Great price, sleek ikea furniture look, and legit sound. You can not go wrong with these Jamos 803s

> 3 dayWhen bought on sale this is a hard speaker set to beat for the price, great sound for a HT on a budget. Add a subwoofer, run your HT speaker setup and enjoy great HT sound on a budget. 11 out of 10 would buy over a soundbar.

> 3 daySuperior, quality product, fantastic-sounding speakers, and at the current deal of $147.95, the price is insane. The Mains - S 803s cost two dollars more by themselves than this entire set - and that includes the S 803s! I mean - this kind of bargain just doesnt happen. Press buy now.

> 3 dayI consider myself a “budget” audiophile, and for the money spent here, I can’t imagine getting a better sound. Sure, they don’t come with a subwoofer, or the Atmos modules but it’s still excellent value. I ordered the white ones which arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. I separately ordered the Atmos modules from another vendor. By mistake, the seller on Amazon sent me a 8” Jamo subwoofer instead of the 5.0 speaker kit at first but Amazon shipped out the correct speakers the following day after I inquired. Even though I had planned to use a larger subwoofer, I decided to try the Jamo subwoofer since it was a free return anyway. In the small man-cave I have this system setup in, I’m more than happy with the overall performance of the entire system and will be contacting Amazon again to arrange keeping the subwoofer. One thing to note is that I originally intended to use this system to replace my Pioneer Andrew Jones speakers in our living room but these Jamo speakers did not sound as good on the Pioneer Elite receiver. Once I moved them into my man-cave and connected them to my smaller Marantz, they sounded much better. These speakers do have a v-curve frequency range which is not my preference but with movies, powered by my Marantz receiver, they do sound great. I’m very happy with them, especially considering I’m all in on 8 great sounding speakers for under $500.
