Jamo Studio Series S 803 Compact 5.0 Home Theater System (White)

Great sound at an affordable price.

Base is deep and rich. Highs are clear, but the kids are dull and muted. This is definitely a v shaped sound. Great 5.1 system for movies but you lose some dynamics listening to music. Overall, fantastic speakers for the money. Just wish there was a little more mid.

Update: I reached out to Klipsch support, after registering on the Jamo website. I figured that after almost a year, they wouldnt likely be helpful. I was wrong! They are shipping me replacements for each of the ones with issues, and a return label for the ones with bubbles showing. Very happy with the service. Original review: This set sounds great, I really like it. Set that center channel right under the TV, and use the receiver to crank the center a little higher than the other speakers, and you will have better dialogue on most movies. They are crisp and clear when loud, instead of thin and grating with the treble. The entire body is some kind of laminate. Most of my speakers have a TON of bubbling all over the body. It is really annoying that they all look so junky up close, because from further back (and up close when new) they look great. It was several months before the bubbles showed up, it was not right away. Im just under a year, right now. Going to try a warranty claim on them, and see what the company can do. Not sure if they will do anything, but its worth a shot.

The package includes 5 speakers. I added two Polk towers and a sub to complete my system.

Speakers blew week after return policy. 50 watts at 3/4 then crackle pop. Now the tight speaker permanently crackles. I Expected 6.5” fronts. The 5” fronts aren’t paired well with what I have. The package is a great deal fir a small surrounded system but I needed minimum 6.5 front woofers. Might keep for rear surround and buy the 6.5 fronts.

I ordered this set of speakers from Amazon and they arrived on time. I excitedly hooked everything up and thought it sounded great. Then I noticed a weird sound happening every once in a while. Turns out the center channel speaker is broken and not usable due to the annoying sound the speaker creates. I was going to return the set but I love the sound so much I decided Id just purchase a new center speaker at a later time plus I dont want to go through the whole return an entire speaker set ordeal.

These speakers are my first hifi speakers and I couldnt be happier. For the price you just cant beat it at all. Just need to add a subwoofer for the perfect setup. I added a Polk psw10. They look amazing. With or without the grills. The front bookshelf speakers pack a punch for 5in woofers. They handle quite well at high volume for extended periods of time as well. Didnt know speakers that small can sound like big floor speakers. The all-around sound is fantastic. Im hearing music much clearer than I ever have before. The soundstage puts you in the room with the artist your listening to. A good example is listening to Alice in chains unplugged , you feel like your actually there. Im definitely no audiophile but hot damn these speakers are awesome. Totally worth the price.

Ive been waiting a long as time and never thought the WHITE would be available in America until now! I sold my main bookshelves which were 2X the price to replace with these stunning 5 piece Jamos. The 803 and center are used for theatre and music streaming while the smaller are for stereo vintage receiver playing gud ol vinyl. The smaller pair doesnt sound that great, just gud enough. Some say the vinyl is not high quality and thats fair...but why would you handle them roughly? As a sum of its parts, these are not only beautiful, but sounds much higher than the low price! Movies and musics both sounds impressive, but not audiophile quality to be clear! But for casual enthusiasts who appreciate quality sounds but are on a budget, these are highly recommended! While producing nice bass, I also use a JBL 12 300W sub all caibrated powered by Pioneer Elite VSX LX-503 AVR. Also, I can alway re-vinyl if needed in the future. 2 Thumbs Up from me!

Excelente inversion calidad, precio

The product has decent stylish design, I bought white one with Oak color. As starting point I did make small easy stereo compo. Then will upgrade AV amplifier later on. PROS : Design and Size All set with $240, 5speakers. Quick sounds 7.2 Dolby Atmos upgrade ready CONS : Lacking tweet touch compared with Bass. Not a great sounds for Center Speaker. I have powered Sub woofer for living, Compared with them sounds cant make a notch. However amplifier can modify it and after tuned sounds quality has improved. Can not beat the price and quality of design from other product line. Recommend those person who wants to making 5.2CH sounds system (buy sub woofer) , future upgrade Dolby Atmos 7.2CH. Better than any of sounds bar.
