There isn’t much to say. It is a very simple design, well made, simple to assemble, stores in the case easily, and works perfectly. The thumb wheel moves it up and down with ease. It stays put where you set it. Mounting the microscope is simple and can be done with ample access to the focusing dial. It just works. While it is inexpensive, it is definitely not cheap. This was a HUGE improvement over the cheap stand that came with my microscope. And the case is just large enough to store the microscope inside with the stand. Definitely happy and definitely worth every bit of the five stars I can give it.

This is a lightweight cast aluminum stand. The gears are not exactly precision, but good enough for hobbyist work.

I just received this microscope camera adjustable support to replace the flexible holder my camera originally came with. Night and day - this one works perfectly. The camera (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XNYXQHE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) itself works well but the flexible arm stand it came with was very difficult to use effectively. This new one solves the problem.

This is very well made - heavier and much more stable than anticipated. Delivery was fast and price very reasonable. Hard to beat that!

I meant to rate this higher, but accidentally got mixed up with rating the original stand and this superior stand. This is excellent compared to the stock stand that comes with the microscope!
