Greater than one weekThe thread gets cut where I want it since the serrations on the blades hold it in place. You can also make small cuts precisely on fabric for the same reason. They dont work well on paper.

Greater than one weekI am in love with these. The micro serrated edges allow me to very easily cut the frays off of chiffon and the like before I roll the edges, which I couldnt do with my other scissors.
