Very sharp and cuts all the way to the tip. I am working on a project that calls for cutting out the pattern, fabric and fused webbing with paper backing attached. This creates 4 layers. These scissors have trouble with that many layers. The medium scissors are able to handle the multiple layers. The small size does well with 2 layers . Very comfortable to use.

Really great scissors! Small enough to fit in my portable kit and very, very sharp. Especially sharp points that are really good for getting accurate cuts on wool felt. Lots of finger room in the handles. Love the serrated edges on the blades that help keep the fabric from slipping around while I cut. And they are great for embroidery work too!

Cuts in small areas and the tips.of them make it easy to cut around appliques.

First, the serrated blades make trimming seam allowances, small pieces for raw edge applique, etc., quick and precise. The blades take hold of the fabric, so that it doesnt scoot away as you try to make small snips, etc. I am going to purchase the larger ones, as well. It pays to by Quality, especially for Tools. I had to swallow hard to pay this much for a small pair of scissors, but Id heard how amazing they were from other Quilters. Im so glad I purchased these!!!

Serrated edged scissors with a great point. These scissors are perfect for cutting applique projects. I have all all the Karen Buckley Scissors and I love them. I just bought this second pair so I could keep it with my smaller sewing projects like Hexies. the serrated edge holds fabric perfectly and the point cuts cleanly even in the smallest spot. they are very comfortable on your hands with bigger finger holes.
