KAVU Rope Bag - Sling Pack for Hiking, Camping, and Commuting

I wore this bag on every ride at Disney. I sling it on my front in one move to get in and out of it. Lots of room! Fun colors! Wipes clean with a damp rag!

As a busy, outdoorsy, homeschool Momma to five kiddos...I am ALWAYS on the lookout for a “better” solution to my bag needs. Another mom suggested I try the Kavu. So far, it checks ALL my boxes! The back sling position makes the weight perfectly balanced and comfortable. It also makes it more hands free and out of the way than a traditional purse or even a cross body bag. Two small front compartments are perfect to drop your keys into and keep a few essentials handy without ever having to dig for them again. The two larger compartments on the sides are surprisingly accommodating! I can easily carry my large bulky wallet, a package of wipes, and a handful of diapers with room to spare. And last but not least, it’s so stinking cute! A zillion colors to choose from makes it feel your own. Seeing as though I haven’t had it terribly long, I can’t fully answer the “durability long term” question; however I CAN say that all the materials seem very durable, the construction seems solid. Prior to this bag I found myself swapping things around to different bags almost weekly; this has now become my one stop staple!

This is my 3rd Kavu Rope bag. This is the canvas material and I love the neutral color. The ease of use of these bags make them very popular. I started carrying a Kavu about 10 years ago and still have the same bag I started with it still functions properly; all zippers, Velcro and rope is still perfect the only drawback is after many years of taking it shopping and placing my cart wipe in the seat with my bag the color has faded. I washed it in hopes of making it look new again but, in the end it was still to irregular in color from the wipes damage so I purchased my 2nd as I love the durability of these. The 3rd I opted for the nylon material and it holds its color better than the canvas versions. Id still recommend these based on the comfort, hands free function, quality & style.

Im a UOAP holder and I got it specifically for the parks. It fits in the free lockers and has the room you need for a couple of waters, snacks, wallets, and phones when you go on the rides.

I love the way this bag looks! Its really pretty, without being overly girly... I love teal and brown, and this design is just perfect! Only thing I docked a star for is its not as big as I expected. I barely fit all my stuff from my old purse in here, and I was just expecting to easily fit everything with room to spare, based in reviews stating it was more spacious than expected. Do get me wrong, its a great bag, and Im gonna get used to it, I think a slimmer wallet will help some. But its definitely goregous. The pics dont do it justice.

I read a ton of great reviews on this bag and the quality is undoubtedly nice! But I hate the way it hangs on your back it’s awkward and not very comfortable.

This is our third purchase of this product. My grandson loved mine so much he ordered one for himself. I have received several compliments on my bag printed with fantasy animals. The colors are great and the quality of the bags is outstanding. Have had my first one for almost a year and use it daily. No wear showing at all. Cleans up nicely. I have even thrown mine in the washer on gentle and hung to dry.

I have this bag and bought one for my SIL because she loved mine so much. It’s small but holds so much. I’m a Mom who loves to adventure and this is perfect for short hikes with the kids. Holds snacks, diapers, and a water perfectly. My SIL is a single gal and loves this bag for comfort, packability, and it’s so cute. I love that I don’t have to take the bag off to access my stuff. I just swing it around and get what I need. It’s PERFECT!

Awkward shape for what I wanted it for but was heavier than my current lunch backpack.. But still a beautiful sling bag just not for me!

Ive wanted a Kavu bag for awhile now. Super happy with this. Its the perfect size and hands free. My only complaint is the blue tone in the picture looked brighter and a royal blue to me. In person its more of a dark blue teal. Not a big deal but not what I was expecting. Still, this design I thought was one of the more classier choices and would go with more outfits and occasions.
