KAVU Rope Sling - Compact Lightweight Crossbody Bag

I love this bag, it makes traveling easier.

I love this bag. Bought it for day and weekend trips I have planned for the summer and its perfect. Big enough for an overnight stay or two when minimally packed and cute enough to wear around as a purse. I like to do spontaneous trips with discount airlines that only let you take a carry on. This is perfect for a couple of pair of underwear, a tshirt, pair of hiking pants, socks, small bag of toiletries, sandals, wrap skirt, cell and headphones/charger and a little camera. Perfect light traveler! Also it has Sasquatch on it. My last sling-type bag lasted me 10+ years. The construction on this bag looks solid and may very well last me 10 years, too! Ill check back in 2029 and let you know.

My new favorite bag! This thing can seriously fit so much stuff in it and still feel light weight. I was able to fit all of the things from my other purse plus all of the things from my work bag inside and still have room. I also like that I can wear it and forget about it, no hassle carrying it around.

I love these bags and bought this one upon seeing my friend wear one. This bag is pretty roomy, and would be a great every day bag or day-hike bag. I love the Spruce color. I also like that this version of Spruce did not have the white zipper. (Theres one out there that does, and it makes it look cheap.) The side buckle on the strap is a really nice feature. I love that you can fully adust it to your body and put it on without slining it over your head. It makes it easier to put on while wearing big coats too! It has lots of zips and pockets, although the front velcro pocket is not quite big enough for a smart phone (I have the iphone8 with a lifeproof case on it.) The Front zipper pocket is plenty big enough for a phone, but I just prefer quicker access. Its great for carrying other items like chapstick and quick acess items, too. I actually prefer the Kavu Paxton style pack to this bag, because I like the the outer pocket configuration better. There are less pockets on the Paxton backpack. The inner pockets are very similar in both (one big flat zip compartment.) It is a slightly smaller tear drop shaped bag. I ended up going with a Paxton bag (In Snow Timber- so I still got a bit of Spruce coloring!) over this bag, but its still a very nice, well made bag. I am petite, so the smaller Paxton bag just looks better on me.

I was hesitant to spend the money for a bag with so many imitations out there however, it was worth every penny! I love it! It has become my go to bag! The pockets are roomy and dont impede the comfort! It carries well and doesnt slip around! I love it!

smaller than expected, but still usable

Love this bag. It’s well made and has so much room in it. It isn’t really waterproof but will not get ruined if it gets wet. It’s super easy to carry as a backpack or crossover bag. I’ll definitely buy another one. I have the lunchbox too and it’s awesome. Keeps my food cool and my la croix cold!!
