10-06-2025Used this for a recent trip to Disney. I took two back packs, this one and a smaller Patagonia. I ended up using this one the whole time because I could carry everything I needed and it fit a full size water bottle. I noticed a lot of people at Disney with this brand backpack. I have used it several times since.

Greater than one weekThe only thing I dont like about it is clasp, which doesnt connect without having to pay attention to it closely. It carries what I need to keep when I am on the go and it is lightweight and sturdy.

Greater than one weekCute and sturdy, it makes a great travel bag that leaves your hands free. You can also snap it open instead of pulling it off over your head, which is helpful, and the bag contains a decent number of separate compartments.

> 3 dayKavu backpacks are amazing! I wanted one for travel trips but after the first use I ended up using it on a daily basis. Its not a fancy Kate Spade bag but its big, functional, comfortable and keeps my hands free. I also love the security that no one is likely to steal it out of my cart when Im grocery shopping as its always on me. Since switching bags to this, I have had zero shoulder/arm/neck pain at all. I only wish I would have found this years ago. For this particular bag (Natural Diver) - I did return it only because I assumed it was white or eggshell like the photo. The bag is actually khaki or a very dirty looking eggshell. Its more masculine that what I was wanting. I later purchased the Ocean Waves design and its bright and beautiful.

Greater than one weekI love these bags and bought this one upon seeing my friend wear one. This bag is pretty roomy, and would be a great every day bag or day-hike bag. I love the Spruce color. I also like that this version of Spruce did not have the white zipper. (Theres one out there that does, and it makes it look cheap.) The side buckle on the strap is a really nice feature. I love that you can fully adust it to your body and put it on without slining it over your head. It makes it easier to put on while wearing big coats too! It has lots of zips and pockets, although the front velcro pocket is not quite big enough for a smart phone (I have the iphone8 with a lifeproof case on it.) The Front zipper pocket is plenty big enough for a phone, but I just prefer quicker access. Its great for carrying other items like chapstick and quick acess items, too. I actually prefer the Kavu Paxton style pack to this bag, because I like the the outer pocket configuration better. There are less pockets on the Paxton backpack. The inner pockets are very similar in both (one big flat zip compartment.) It is a slightly smaller tear drop shaped bag. I ended up going with a Paxton bag (In Snow Timber- so I still got a bit of Spruce coloring!) over this bag, but its still a very nice, well made bag. I am petite, so the smaller Paxton bag just looks better on me.

> 3 dayI first owned a Meru bag but I wanted to try the Kavu just bc it was supposedly the best in its line. I just can’t agree with that. It feels so awkward on me, it twists around somehow and at times I’m wearing it upside down which when I open the “top” zipper it’s actually the bottom pocket and all my stuff falls out. It’s hard to explain if you’ve never had the Meru bag. There’s no comparison between the two other than price and prints. I have to say no to this bag as it annoys me...A LOT!

> 3 dayIt’s the perfect size for daily use...and it lives up to the claim that it is stain-resistant and water-resistant. I love it!
