Kester is a solid product. Theres not really much to say...my Grandfather used it on the laser boards when he worked for TI and I use it on wire repair in automotive.

Superbly excellent solder. Tired of the tiny smaller diameter solder? Buy this.

Not much to say. Its solder, with 40% lead in it. Flows and wets wonderfully compared to lead free. Well worth the marginal increase in cancer risk if you use it regularly. Just remember its not RoHS compliant, so dont use it for work purposes if you have to follow RoHS guidelines.

This is the only solder I ever use. I have had great luck with it and would highly recommend it to anyone. The flux action of this solder makes it flow very well, leading to clean joints and quicker work. The .05 size is perfect for most projects, but I recommend a lighter gauge like .031 for working with small PCBs and smaller wires. The solder comes with a date of manufacture on the reel, so you will know when it is time to replace it if you have not used it up. IMPORTANT NOTE: Storage and Shelf Life Storage must be in a dry, non-corrosive environment. The surface may lose its shine and appear a dull shade of gray. This is a surface phenomena and is not detrimental to product functionality. Flux cored solder wire has a limited shelf life determined by the alloy used in the wire. For alloys containing more than 70% lead, the shelf life is 2 years from the date of manufacture. Other alloys have a shelf life of 3 years from the date of manufacture.

It is worth it. Don’t skimp on cheap stuff. It makes electronics work so much easier when you have good materials.
